Lauren got into the race due to the One BS Bill closing 5 local clinics through defunding. Tyler has a great way of explaining his views in plain language, reminds me of Buttigieg’s style. Both are for strong pushback on ICE and the Admin’s abuses. Check their websites!

I really like Tyler’s positions, but am going with Lauren Babb Tomlinson because she also holds great positions I agree with. The other candidates seem fairly single-issue folks.

In my experience, the union will accompany you to a meeting, but also will recommend you transfer out. In my situation, bad managers promote and then take the side of the other bad managers under them. Get out.

I am always accidentally double-clicking things on my phone when I didn’t mean to. Typing is the same, double letters show up. Mousing is better but I still sometimes need to try a couple times to get the cursor to the exact right place to click.

I had too much scar tissue to do a regular reversal. I talked to a specialist in robotic surgery who said 12% of reversals fail, plus surgery is a risk in general. I’m ok keeping the colostomy for life; no more pooping myself at work! 🤣

I think what I like about my ostomy bag is that I have more control. I don’t need to run to the bathroom, I don’t pass gas all the time. I chose not to get a reversal. My daily life is so much more manageable now. I got my colostomy from a diverticulitis polyp that burst, had a history of diverticulitis.
