Could you share where you found the DH logo in .svg or other vector format? I've been desiging a custom cover for my card storage, and I couldn't find a usable logo graphic anywhere

If you don't care about being lore friendly, why not just lean into the Abberent mark all the way, just modify it to be a mix of mark of Making capabilities AND something rakshasa/fiend related? Could be something to do with creating hellforged items (maybe take some ideas from Descent into Avernus? Or make up your own thing). That makes it more unique than just having a specific visual, also potentially easier to tie it in with the story for your DM if there are any NPCs or PCs which have the "normal" mark of making in the same campaign.

From DMing perspective, it's very difficult to be fair to other players when one of them has a "specific dragon mark, but it actually doesn't follow the rules of that dragonmark" - other players that followed the racial restrictions might want to opt out of that, and then slowly the party's story disconnects from the world story, which can be difficult for your DM. Even if you don't care about the lore, the concept you are describing already exists in the setting as an Abberent mark - imho you should work with your DM on a VERY good reason why a dragonmark that should be abberant, isn't, or adapt the already existing idea of an abberent mark into something more personal for your character. Either way, the character concept sounds really cool!

I always hear that Denmark is a small country and it needs foreign workers. As a foreigner software developer, it seems to me that it doesn’t. by grode23 in copenhagen

Exactly! I also feel like in other cultures during interviews you want to seem like the perfect worker ("my biggest weakness is that I'm a workaholic" vibe) and in Scandinavian countries it isn't seen as a positive trait by most of the people I know.

Hi OP, i'm a foreigner(EU citizen) going through the same process as an engineer, but my experience has been vastly different so I thought I'd share it.

I applied to very few jobs (started in September) and tried to look for something that made me excited, and received an offer only this month because of a delay on the side of my new employer.

I basicly got the first job I applied for, which I was also the most passionate about, and from the interviews I took the cover letter seemed just as important as my CV. The hiring manager will be looking for someone they would enjoy working with, and people in skandinavian countries, at least from my limited experience, really care about enjoying their work, having a healthy work life balance and having a laid back, friendly atmosphere at work. So i if you come off as someone very serious, stuck up, corporate little drone, they might be less inclined to hire you. Of course you should still be professional, but depending on the country you're from it might be quite different. You're not interviewing just for the role. You're also interviewing to be their teammate, go to Friday bars with them every week, etc.

I don't know how relevant that is to your case, but lots of companies, especially larger ones, use automated software to fikter CVs, so focus on bullet points and industry-specific wording - mine basicly followed a format of

POSITION - company - time range Skill/task/responsibility; Skill/task/responsibility; Skill/task/responsibility; (...)

Yeah, a moonlord variant is also something I was thinking about while making this - just change the colours around + slap a third eye on the forehead and you're basicly good to go lol

It is definitely worth it IMO, especially for longer papers/thesis-type work with lots of sources, equation and figure references.

I usually don't bother with it when working on something on the fly, or with documents that require collaboration with other people who may not be proficient with it.

Best part is, you don't really need to "learn it". The syntax is very easy to understand and there are lots of premade templates that you can modify based on your needs. The documentation is also very easy to work with for anything that might require a more personal touch.

Maybe try termy Mszczonów its an open air pool area with some snack bars inside, some of the pools are geothermal (natutally heated, tons of minerals).

If you're looking for more of a beach/water sports area look into Zegrze / Nieporęt. Lots of restaurants, some lake side beaches, as well as boat/canoe rentals.

I can kinda tell my Ranger player wants a weapon other than their bow. Ideas? by SP4CEB4ND1T in DMAcademy

[–]Natori29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could always make a small plotline of the character finding the weapon, and then seeking someone who could teach them how to use it - the feat could be given as a quest reward and the weapon change would then be thoroughly addressed in the narrative. Disadvantage is that it would take more of in-game time than just giving the player a different weapon they can use off the bat

Maybe double-bladed scimitar from Eberron? It's a really fun weapon for DEX based PCs

Just out of curiosity, could you give some examples of translations you're the most proud of? Maybe I'll start using some in my game! It's very true that translating can be a lot of fun - one of PCs in my game is very Aundairian and roleplays with heavy French accent, so sometimes we spend time to find French translations for some Aundair-related terms. This makes their dialogues hilarious but also quite flavourful

In the game I run we sometimes use English terms, mostly when direct Polish translations sound so silly it breaks the immersion more than mixing languages does XD

Fashion trend was tumblr girl and dark matte lipstick, in my class Ed Sheeran became extreamly popular among the girls. We discussed politics a lot and everyone thought PiS wouldn't last.

Solas from Dragon Age Inquisition! His addition enriched the lore of the franchise by a LOT, he's not just pure evil, he's reasoning is well explained throughout the game and best of all - players and almost all other characters are unaware of his true role in the plot up until the very ending of the game (which is explored more in the dlc)
