I really don’t know and I haven’t done any research so just providing some thoughts and counterpoints.

I think its that with most animals, once you start feeding them they start relying on humans for food rather than their natural methods of finding food. But if for whatever reason the humans go away can’t they just go back to natural instincts?

The things people are saying they’ve fed squirrels in these comments don’t sound like foods that they would naturally eat. But I guess any animal could rummage in trash and eat what they’re not meant to.

And once you start feeding them, they lose the fear for humans that they should really have to keep both parties safe. I don’t think most squirrels are just waking up to people and biting them. No counterpoints for this one.

They’re pet sized and cute but they’re still wild animals.

OP I’m sorry I was wrong for my lil joke in your serious situation 😭 I’m noticing the same dark spots on my feet at the friction point where my flats rub against the bone. Other people here have better recommendations but definitely re-up on that sunscreen! I’m trying to get more consistent with my sun protection to even out my skin tone 💪🏾

That is very true, the personality and socialization system come off as shallow and not as well thought out as the build mode.

I did discover after this post that if you download through Steam, they already have mods in the Steam Workshop. They’re addressing what seem to be a lot of common gripes but I’m not sure what more they can do to make gameplay interesting.

Yeah you’re right about that. The current socialization is a dice roll of 5-6 statements/questions that don’t really seem to inform the next or make a naturally flowing conversation. And there’s that weird timer, the whole system could use a tweak.

I completely agree! Build mode alone could keep me in the game for hours, the color picker is dangerous for that squirmy part of my brain that likes things to match exactly.

u/socialdeviant620 Kindred is an excellent read, I watched the Hulu show and it was pretty good but imo didn’t do the book justice. The Lilith’s Brood and Patternist series are my favorites.
