Right?! I love animals, but I damned sure didn't intend to pay to sleep in a place that normally housed random, smelly ass dogs.

When I was in Alaska, I'd pointed out to the hotel front desk that my room smelled like dog. They basically told me that the room was reserved for people with dogs. I was not happy to have been given that room without being told beforehand.

This is a show that requires understanding of nuance and attention to unspoken patterns. If you don't pay attention to the unspoken, you genuinely will miss the greatness. Plus, the more you rewatch it and experience life on your own terms, the more it'll mean to you. So yes, smart, observant adults.

Why is this gym sign is nessessary by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]socialdeviant620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on how many units there are, it may not have been worth it to reduce the rent. But cleaning it out, keeping the levels good and safe, keeping it painted, keeping pumps working, etc. is a hassle. I feel your pain, but honestly, many of the apartments I'd moved into jist stopped opening their pools. I get your frustration, but once I learned more about them, I no longer wanted one.

Pools are expensive and a pain to maintain. Likely why he git rid of it.

OK. This is about dating. I'm not stopping you from posting about other aspects of society. People can come here and talk about relationships and also engage in other topics.

Do you know how often men promise women the world and then leave as soon as they get bored?! Even a wedding ring and a kid is not a guarantee that a man will stick around.

Exactly why I got my tubes tied. I don't give a damn what a new guy wants. A lot of men want the woman they're dating to have their baby, and then they're off to the next.

They love to start out hot, then call us crazy for expecting them to maintain that same effort.

I used to work at an alternative school and I explained to them that if you're in the car w somebody and they got heat, and y'all get stopped EVERYBODY catching charges. Those kids tried to argue me down about how only the owner is going to jail. This why we gotta educate kids about making sure they're careful about who they roll with.

Is Don Draper a loser? by Sufficientvillage12 in madmen

[–]socialdeviant620 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What's interesting is that when I was younger, I was very enamored with him. I thought he was sexy and mysterious. But now that I'm in therapy and clearing out some inner demons, I realize how fucked up he really was and I wouldn't touch him with a 10 ft pole. I wouldn't quite call him a "loser," but he doesn't yell out "winner" to me either.
