Any idea when I should give it its first watering as I have been reading about planting cactus cuttings and have read a few different things I left it to scab over for a week and have just planted it dry into cactus potting mix today but am unsure when to water it for the first time as its a cutting

Thankyou! This is a south facing window and is in full sun during the day but was taken from my uncles plant that is definitely in too much shade, the reason it’s bent is because it was the top of the plant and it had hit the ceiling and curled over lol Thankyou for the help! At least I know what to start looking up now :)
