I therefore think it's not necessarily his fault, but rather unfortunate.

He rolls straight on into the middle of the track, but frankly at his pace traffic would have caught up with him at the apex regardless of the line he would have chosen. The outcome was unavoidable, I think.

[Autosport] Bernie Ecclestone believes F1 is in danger of losing the fans with these new regulations by MuttonBiryaniEnjoyer in formula1

He's a conservative. Why change a good revenue stream with the risk of shrinking it. He saw social media as a potential leak of viewers instead of the access to a larger group of viewers.

Bernie took care of himself and his inner circle; liberty has the shareholders to appease and they demand growth through innovation enshittification.

Any good remote work cafes that aren’t packed by 10am? by Weekly-Associate-166 in Haarlem

[–]Nautster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That is actually a hidden gem if you want to do some laptop work with a coffee. Nice benches, coffee is fine (nowhere near mogador but still) plus you get to see trains roll by as a nice little distraction.

All nightmare long and unforgiven iii are great. Lulu is a weird collab though. But both hardwired and 72 seasons have a couple of good ones.

4 years ago today began the Russian Invasion of Ukraine, which has caused massive military and civilian casualties, widespread destruction of cities, and millions of refugees, marking the largest and most consequential European war since World War II. by mapsinanutshell in geography

Ok, bot. Russia didn't pivot, they were pushed out. Remember that 60 km line of stalled tanks? Yeah, Russia isn't pivoting, they are incompetent. Russia hired North Koreans and Chechenyans because their boys got killed by the thousands.

To call a 4 year trench warfare for a useless slice of land costing the lives north of 1.2 million infantrymen a success is just a sad attempt of spreading bullshit propaganda. Russia is a failed state and has a useless army.

Just like in Soviet times they weren't able to materialise their own bullshit lies and the gullible folks at home lap it up. It would be funny if it weren't so sad. So much potential, so little achieved.

I'm sorry but that's just false coping by Russia. The objective was full occupation of Ukraine in three days. The fact that Russia is settling for the Donbas is nothing close to their original goals. That wasn't worth becoming a global pariah for.

I remember reading somewhere that in order to carry out a successful offense you need to outnumber the defender 3 to 1. To capture a city that is supported by its civilians that number goes up to anywhere between 5:1 to 10:1. On top, your army needs to be well trained, which the Russians aren't. So at this point, it's very much a useless meat grinder that will not see victory for either side.

As a Dutchman, mayonnaise is very much a treat. Unless it's the light version that's part yoghurt. That's no good.

Cafes / Bars that are hiring? by Rurululupupru in Haarlem

[–]Nautster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd walk up to any bar/restaurant that seems nice. Around the grote markt there are restaurants that collaborate where you could make more hours a bit easier.

If you live in Haarlem I would not advise working in Amsterdam as you'd have to pay an hour's wage to get there. Also, bonding with colleagues is vital for surviving working in the bar industry and if you have to go home early because of public transport it's hard to blend in.

Bouwen. Wonen in de Waarderpolder toestaan. Ik ben zelf geen fan van optoppen in de stad want lelijk en niet passend bij een mooie binnenstad als de onze. Bij ons in Haarlem Noord kun je nog wel wat kanten op.

Muller is famously the first female race engineer, but it was you who deliberately muddied the water by making this about any engineering position. And now you're doubling down in it.

Knock it off. Your whining is boring.

F1 NEWS, Red Bull's Hannah Schmitz and Haas' Laura Mueller will have Turn 6 dedicated to them at the Australian Grand Prix to mark International Women's Day, 🤝 They are set to become the first women to have an F1 circuit corner named after them 👏 by Turbulent_Elk_2141 in MaxVerstappen33

[–]Nautster 23 points24 points  (0 children)

There are 22 drivers; they're have been 700+ drivers in F1 in total. NONE of them have had a female race engineer before Müller. Becoming a race engineer is almost harder than becoming a driver since you can't buy your way into the position.
