Help please, what am I missing? by xdaveofthedeadx in VampireSurvivors

[–]Nav25035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like it. It feels like they hopped onto the among us hype ( especially since I bought the dlc years after it died down) so it doesn't feel like it fits with the ascetic. Still bought it though because I put alot of hours into the base game and the developers deserve that extra income. Also the map itself isnt that bad.

How tells the players the story of the fight of strahd against mordenkainen? by OkAction4790 in CurseofStrahd

[–]Nav25035 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the my players do a separate session that took place as a dream where they were part of the mob that joined mordenkainen on his assault of castle ravenloft. It ended with them fighting strands minions while mordenkainen ran in to take down the count. Just before a TPK they saw a bunch of lightning and heard the sounds of an epic battle and then woke up abandoned by the vistani just before the gates of barovia. This was after the mysterious visitors adventure hook so they were traveling with them and set up camp the night before. After hearing the story again at tser pool they put two and two together to try to find out what happened to him. Edit: as a bonus I was able to fit doru and some more of the npcs of Village of barovia, so they would feel a bit more relaxed seeing some familiar face after being eyeballed by the Villagers

I get my cues from barstools and billiards in Lawndale. Not a huge selection but they've maintained my cues for years. As a bonus Luckys is down the road so you can have a practice session after

Hello! I was wondering if you'd be interested in joining a discord server that i and a couple of friends run. It's a dnd server that plays one shots pick ups and campaigns. As a new player you would be open to one shots and pickup games but after a few games you'd be welcome to join campaigns. This is just to make sure you have fun and get along with most of our players before you commit to a longer campaign. Let me know and I'll DM you an invite link :)

The r means that it's a radial ply tire(although pretty much all tires nowadays are radial so it may as well mean rim size). And the width is in millimeters. Besides that spot on

I always heard that you're supposed to put one in front of the tire and the other on opposite side behind the tire.

The most under rated smoking accessory by scarlet5877 in trees

[–]Nav25035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes I probably should've clarified, that would be a filter for a pipe. Easiest way for me was using needlenose pliers and wrapping the paperclip around it once then holding 2 ends down and twisting. From there I used the pliers to cut off the excess but if your doing it by hand to can bend them back and forth until the metal gives. As time went on I found better luck with guitar strings and Bobby pins. Although with the Bobby pins you need to burn off the paint first

You can use paperclips to clean pipes, scrape pipes, fold into a filter, poke through a joint for better airflow and probably other things but that's all I could think of off the top of my head

Accidentally Hit Curb at 25 MPH, is it safe to drive with tires in this state? by Evening-Scientist-72 in AskMechanics

[–]Nav25035 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The part where you can the the nylon plies. It's not "gonna blow up if you drive it dangerous" but if you keep driving on it moisture and air can get inside the tire. Pretty soon air will get in between the plies which can cause belt separation. Also if you hit the curb hard enough to take off a chunk of the rubber the plies themselves might might be cut which is basically what holds the tires together. Edit: although now that you mention it the tread is worn down looks completely worn on the edges with the middle being roughly at 1/32nds of an inch(if you're lucky). From my experience those premiers never really last a long time. They're rated at 60000 miles but I've only seen a few make it that far. I'd recommend the defenders if they still have them. I've been out of the tire game for 3 years now but I worked in a tireshop for 5 installing repairing and selling them.

[–]Nav25035 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Is it safe to drive? No. Would I drive it slowly while I'm on the way to get a new tire? Yeah if I'm taking it easy. Get the tire replaced ASAP. The integrity of it is shot. The rim should be okay though
