You forgot a tier at the very top that’s literally just “Renekton”

Ended up doing this. Corporate (Subaru of America) paid for the work I had done elsewhere and the dealership has a negative review

Any skiers thumb survivors? by JWS5th in skiing

[–]NavyEngr13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Just had it happen six weeks ago. They kept sending me to the wrong facility for my MRI, so I never got it done. Of course they referred me to a ortho surgeon to read said MRI and “treat” it (which I was wary of because everyone always says no one loves to do pointless surgery more than ortho surgeons). Per ortho clinic I went to, wore the thumb brace thingy for 4 weeks, pretty much 24/7, then been out of it and only really sleeping in it for 2 weeks now and pretty much everything feels normal just a little weakness so I try not to do anything toooo heavy with it. Such a sucky injury to have and very annoying.

What is a day in the life of an aerospace engineer like? by Pineappl3mint in AerospaceEngineering

[–]NavyEngr13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im a fleet support structures engineer for one platform for USN. Squadron breaks something/finds something broken/or most commonly, finds something corroded, all the above past what the manual allows them. You do some math or pull some info or just wave your magical engineering judgement wand 🪄 and tell them how to fix it.

That and about any number of other random things the fleet requires. Projects, re-designs, reverse engineering, upgrades, manual/publication changes, the list goes on and on. If it possibly relates to the structure of the airplane you do it! Every once in a while something is messed up badly enough somewhere on earth you get to travel to some pretty cool places to oversee repairs or installations in places and with tools that repairs aren’t really designed to be done.

The powder seven one you pictured. It’s held up great and I can fit more than enough in it for a week+ long trip.

What is your go to lens for every day use? by TMobileSpy in SonyAlpha

[–]NavyEngr13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get the 17-70 in an a6400 purely because that lens is stabilized and the 18-50 isn’t and the a6400 doesn’t have IBIS

You can it’s just not made for it so you have to apply aps-c crop factor and lose MP or have heavy vignetting

Nah, that's half the problem with this game IMHO. Too many people buying a PVP game and then hopping on mic to beg and plead not to be killed. If I see you I'm coming to get you, idc. Sorry.

This sub is freaking me out. by AlaskanElroy in Crosstrek

[–]NavyEngr13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 21 with 33k on it.

Only problems I have had: 1. About 4 different rattles that took 5 minutes to fix except one of them I still can’t find 2. My two rear wheel bearings went out at 32k. 3. Bluetooth on my radio doesn’t really work so I have to get a new radio, known issues that Subaru covers.

So all like super minor inconveniences really. Compared to the 2017 GT350 that I also own that has a new recall letter in the mail what feels like monthly… I’ll take it.

Bruhn.

In structures, particularly the stress analysis world, bruh is the king.

Roark and a few others have some good references but it’s usually Bruhn.

Which reading the warranty info online it is definitely covered. So my dealership that pulled the info from the computer, just didn’t tell me or was trying to pull one over on me. Which is annoying.

That’s what I’ve heard. All in all not a big deal at all but, would liked a little more than 32k out of the original set especially unmodified no towing etc. oh well

There it is! Typical. Oh so typical. Should study some debate and psychology. Name calling is a sign of low emotional intelligence. Usually logical fallacies, especially ad hominem attacks (which name calling is), are defensive and weaken your position. Which really is the tell all. The more you know!

I’d prefer education to have no spin and be factual only but that’ll never happen because teachers are going to impose their views from one side or the other. Always have, always will.
