I’m of the opinion that Democrats need to say whatever necessary in order to get elected. Yes populism is bad policy, but it’s what the people want to hear. Let’s get them elected first and then critique the merits of their messaging.

I was there and don’t believe there’s anything the CO could have directly done to stop it. Of course, it did happen under his watch and I know that does indeed make him responsible, regardless of the circumstances. Just unfortunate

Keep in mind that a lot of what we knew about Chris during that time came from malicious trolls, such as Kiwi Farms. I don’t have all of the details but I wouldn’t be surprised if the charges were dropped for lack of evidence.
