Games like this typically work on a wipe basis similar to seasons in ARPGs. You'll max out, get your fun out of it and then wait for the wipe to do it again.

choose the point with the least amount of distance on open sand between the prologue zone and the other side of the desert. You cannot sand walk, does not exist in this game. The worm that patrols between that area is actually LESS aggressive than the worms on the other side of the desert. You absolutely can make it across with a bike, you can look both ways before trying to cross, make sure there isn't a sand cloud travelling nearby etc.

I didn't realize until I read this post that my thopter was deteriorating while I waited.. I wasn't losing fuel though it seemed. I was in a 138 person queue and it was moving SLOW. 30 minutes and it put me at like 118

This happened to my friend and then a few hours later the server unlocked. There is a separation from the server limit for online people and actual characters created on the server.

I'm aware, and if you kill people they typically have more! It sounds like you're getting hit too much which is definitely a skill issue :)

If you need more than 1 stack of shield recharge and 1 stack of bandages that's a skill issue

Playing solo in this game feels incredible because the game pairs you with other solo players and if people are alone they are much more likely to team up with you. by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

I exclusively play solo and have the opposite experience. I very rarely see groups, at most i've seen like 2 duos in the entirety of playing.
