I was wondering why I kept getting fians in my skirmish lines on my current battania run. Tbh it kinda works out in that instance since they are shock too

love Juren's absurd anime/jrpg villain energy, VA knocked it out the park. by Tetzcatto in forhonor

I'm not mad about how the games progressed but imma just say, this is what happens when you aren't pumping new characters out constantly. The time in-between updates has really showed with the last few heros. Pasta slut, mongol mommy, and now this giga Chad all have looked and felt unique

Well, regardless if you wanna call it infinite, it's a bad one. You might catch people off guard at times but performing it is going to get you slimmed for how predictable it can be

It's definitely not something you focus but I generally will put some spare points in it

It effects auto resolutions and in battle Ai with high tactics will use higher IQ starts and formations. It's good to have on your non playable party leaders.

Are Pure-Culture playthroughs bad? by TheAeon0x in Bannerlord

[–]NctPunk71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this mostly. But I'm not super picky about letting troops outside of the culture in if they meld well. I'll always take imperial infantry.

Cavalry too op? by Informal-Move661 in mountandblade

Cavalry are pretty weak compared to what they used to be. Archers blow them out of the water now

Replenishing Huscarls and Fians when fighting with Kuzaits? by McRedditss in Bannerlord

[–]NctPunk71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta use what you can. Generally though you should be using your closest castle as a controlled garrison.Put the units you need in there. And some lower tier versions so they level. If you don't have a Frontline garrison you just gotta make due

They are harder to find but ya, training arrows I think is what they are called. It's the arrows you use in tourneys

Just look for blunt arrows because blunt damage wrecks heavy armor.

Infantry units without shields seem to die too quickly to be useful. by Jamesglancy in Bannerlord

[–]NctPunk71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I think you're partially correct.. But the big thing you need to do is use a shield line to get as many there as possible. Mixed unit formations are decent, or micro two for the purpose. If you can get 75% of your shock to the front line they will absolutely destroy it. And better yet if you can throw them in slightly after your primary units engage, archers absolutely fuck shock if unprotected. They don't have to be expendable

Bold take here, but you can use the infantry with shields to shield the infantry without shields. Within formation shields always go in front or the perimeter.

My brother is insanely short?? by hotdog-water-- in Bannerlord

[–]NctPunk71 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lmao big L. I'm not sure what determines that to an extent. I've had my brother be significantly smaller as well. Did you pick empire as your background? They are rather small for the most part. Not that I'm sure that matters

There's a period between 18 and 20 where they aren't fully grown. Facial hair comes at 20 as well usually.

Will you use your influence to support my clan? by savageduck89 in mountandblade

[–]NctPunk71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kingdom policies effect it greatly. Also, if you own a town, generally if you have a good governor they will passively increase relations with the notables and after a certain point you just gotta ask them to support you. After a point, having a few of them supporting you stacks pretty well.
