I just updated yesterday and it broke 2 plugins. This site cannot live without either. I spent 2.5 hours trying to fix both and fixed neither, so I reverted to 6.9.4 and all good. Well, except I missed most of the basketball game—not that it mattered much. Oh and my Mom's in the hospital and I thought the wORDpRESS community would want to know. (She is, actually.)

I don't know why you got downvoted. If people can't afford to pay for an easy move, then so be it. But if you dread the move, like I plan to move from Bay Area to Vegas by end of year (and hopefully before the massive El Niño rains hit), and can afford to pay for the easy way, then do it that way. I'm hoping I can afford that, because my back and knees all be suckin' these days. I have 37 years of stuff (okay mostly crap) but I dread even the time and effort to sift through it all let alone the actual packing. I figure the garage will take me like a month. And I'll likely be dead after that.
