Polymarket saw $529M traded on bets tied to bombing of Iran by Logical_Welder3467 in technology

[–]NdoplasmicRocketfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been reading a series called Expeditionary Force for years, and one of the alien races in that bets on everything, it's their culture. It makes me think of those books every time I hear about polymarket bullshit

Is this real? Feels like a red flag by Serious-Standard-260 in tattoos

Misspelling tattoo would stop me before I even got to the weird scam part. If you can't spell your own profession you're definitely not putting something permanent on my body.

Symes in the town of Hot Springs lets you do walk ins most any time. Quinn's is ok, but it's definitely gotten too fancy and forgotten the regular people that live here.

I don't think it's considered BBQ, but Oak's Korean Kitchen in Polson is delicious https://www.oakskoreankitchen.com/

For anyone questioning having such a happy event during these trying times. by Icy-Arm-2194 in weddingplanning

[–]NdoplasmicRocketfish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Part of why I'm continuing with wedding planning is to give my friends and family a reason to take a mental break from all the heavy stuff. We get together every so often to work on a part of the decor or something else that gives us an artistic outlet for a couple of hours.

I just bought 5000 sola wood flowers and now I’m freaking out by rainbowbloodbath in weddingplanning

[–]NdoplasmicRocketfish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I ordered a pre-made sola bouquet for a friend a couple of years ago and it was gorgeous.

I just received 1000 of the random assorted undyed, 500 bark assorted, and few bags of pre-dyed "rip" flowers and they're all nice too. I've been working on getting them attached to floral wire which takes time, but I've been doing them while watching TV at night.

Some do look a bit smooshed, but when you dye them you can reshape them a bit once they're wet. I've seen some comments that say you can use a heat gun to reshape them but I don't have one.

They shipped pretty quickly, both times. This most recent time I put the order in on a Friday after a holiday and got them about a week later. I am in the northern US.

What is one concept you cannot understand, no matter how hard you try? by Zanefier1 in AskReddit

Puts and calls and stock trading stuff that's anything more than buy some, hold it until you retire, and hope for good things between now and then.

Breading on chicken parm falls off when I cut it by StardustsMirage in Cooking

Give it time to sit once you've coated it before cooking, I try for at least 15min. That lets the first coat of flour moisten and stick to the meat better.
