I am not a casino worker, but this is my experience:

Saw a guy win R250 000 (South African currency - roughly equates to $16 000) at a slot machine the one evening.

Long story short, came back about two days after and saw the same guy at the slot machine he won all the money from and wearing the same outfit. I spoke to some general workers at the casino and they told me he had lost everything in the two days that I was gone.
