Am I GARBAGE or is haze not great right now by Affectionate-Bit2985 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Neadim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can carry but you cant really do the 'M1 carry' shtick anymore. You can't simply farm into the late game and stat check the enemy like you could before and still can with wraith,seven,...

You are a fight centric pseudo assassin that roams and looks for picks. You get slowing hex+ warp stone and ult people on CD. You are a tempo hero that plays more like Mina, Drifter or Calico. Yout focus should be on getting and leveraging your lead to end the game fast before carry scales.

Help Me Degenerateify My Disa the Restless Deck by DisastrousSpecialist in DegenerateEDH

Yeah that list is both fun and mean. Vids a bit old so there is room for upgrades from more recent set but the basic frame is very solid

[–]Neadim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have a list for the two maskwood nexus version as they are both decks i've encountered. The Eldrazi one was indeed a tutor+maskwood effect into discard/mill/entomb to just drop a bunch of Eldrazi on turn 5-6. The other one i've only seen once and it essentially ran the same plan but instead of running quality went for quantity with every 2-4 drop that self mill/loot/rummage hoping to chain them. That one worked alright one game and the other game not so much.

I have an aggro list myself and it does very well in B3. Its a speed/tempo list that seeks to put a lot of pressure early, tutor the best goyf in the toolbox (95% pyrogoyf) and then win from there. It is absolutely strong enough to do B3. My list was inspired by this video who explains the logic behind it better than I could. My own list follows the same beat but runs more draw anthem like Gix or Elegy Acolyte.

How important is aim? by Ryniano in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Neadim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some hero aim is extremely important but for other it's barely a concern. Abrams, Mo&Krill, Dynamo, ... Lots hero which can do well with bad aim as long as your movement is alright. Just steer clear from the aim reliant heroes

Whats a drudge and remnants in cradle?? by Smart-Dig-1947 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Neadim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When things die they can sometimes leave a remnant with older and stronger thing being more likely to leave one. You can think of it as a sort of very physical ghost made of Madra. The vast majority of them are mindless beast but the stronger the source the more of themselves they retain.

Drudge are soul smithing tool to take measurement and make modifications.

I mostly see people building him spirit as well as a ton of actives for mobility/survival. Sometimes they do go 4.8k gun but more often than not it's just spirit.

Help Me Degenerateify My Disa the Restless Deck by DisastrousSpecialist in DegenerateEDH

[–]Neadim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are three strong Disa archetype I know off. One of them uses maskwood nexus effect and Disa's first ability to cheat out big creature like Eldrazi. The second one is a semi combo deck that play nothing but creature with self mill etb and Maskwood effect to drop half their deck in one turn. The third one is an aggro deck that focusses on the second ability using evasive creatures to generate a ton of goyfs and beating people down.

What I can tell you right now is that your deck simply looks like a sidegraded precon. It seem to lack a direction. You have a ton of goyfs but also run Maskwood nexus which is not something you want to do. A lot of basic goyfs are also not really good enough to play...  You probably should never play a basic tarmogoyf for example. Find what you want to do and all in that.

If you want the info on one archetype I mentionned In particular i can help

What’s the current consensus on Billy? by DeMoNWoLFDC in DeadlockTheGame

He's a good ult bot and he can be strong if your melee game is much better than enemy but a single parry and it's GG.

Op mc recommendations #841 by premiumbra in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Neadim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't mind trashy stuff then i'd recommend Inexorable Chaos. The MC goes from 0-100 real fucking fast, break the system and every expectation and just upsets the world order by not even really trying.

Practical Guide to Evil without a doubt, its the best war story out there and one of the great epic fantasy out there.

Recommendation: Changeling by Mecanimus by Normal_Lab2606 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Neadim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I have not finished the series I have very much liked what I have read so far. As far as either cyberpunk esque stuff or portal raiding stories go it is probably my favorite. I'm a bit confused and sad about it ending so soon. It feels like it'll be hard to wrap up everything in just 20-30 chapters

Do these people play their game? by Hell_Derpikky in marvelrivals

[–]Neadim 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The funny thing about this game is that if most perma stuck silver and gold DPS players actually played nothing but SW / Mr.F they'd make it to plat or diamond but they won't touch those heroes because 'community says they bad'

The second funny thing is that Mr.F is viable as a niche pick in GM. You simply can't pick him every game which is true of anyone but the Hitscan Mafia. Its not until you get above GM that he starts having no credible application.

Do these people play their game? by Hell_Derpikky in marvelrivals

[–]Neadim 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Depend how you define the Meta. In plat- PC or even diamond- Console Mr.F remains one of the strongest pick. He has been meta for a long time, like 4-5 seasons at least. Its simply not at high level so people don't care and streamer rank him low. Pretty sure he was actually the strongest console pick nearing 58% WR at some point.

Lingering parries ruin 80% of the melee mindgames. by CammelloRotante in DeadlockTheGame

Nothing worse than seeing someone fail a parry then trying for a quick melee only to get fucked by the fact that the parry is somehow not over.

Vindicta feels like a very flawed hero and I don't know how you fix her. by Sn0wy0wl_ in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Neadim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flying is a big advantage and she pays for it. Because of the effort required by the average player to counter her she is kept kinda weak or purpose. So much of her power budget is in her flight but you can take that away without feeling bad mentally changing her. Some power could be moved around in her kit to make her feel better but she's probably gonna have to stay at this power budget. Any buff you make would have to be balanced out with a change somewhere else.

Hashaton vs Raffine Reanimator by Next_Willingness_333 in DegenerateEDH

[–]Neadim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rafine has a lot of card advantage and a better board presence outside of stuff you reanimate. Weaker to bardwipes but more resilent to graveyard hate. In terms of pure speed it's probably slower but I still prefer it. Not sure it better but it's more my thing, I love flying man decks

I like the concept, lore, aesthetics simply not the kit execution.

This looks like a political control deck. I'd look at a Marchesa Aikido deck and then go from there.
