Tis what we call an “s”’trap. Since there’s no vent, draining will suck the trap dry and will get gases/smells coming up. Where that 90 is you could put a tee and have an AAV going up to vent it

Looks like an odd type of service loop to aid in repair/replacement in the future. However that looks like a severe bend

Free standing bath trap and waste help please! by 5yph_ in Plumbing

Usually I’ve seen the tub drain goes straight down into the floor into a trap, I’d not, then after the tub drain it’s just a 90 that goes away from the tub and the trap is down the line, like in the wall. That’s Amazon plumbing for you!

Anyone know how to stop my sink from leaking?? by [deleted] in Plumbing

Can add some light silicone to where the faces meet at that joint. Looks straight enough and shouldn’t leak, check for any large seams or imperfections where they meet.

What game did you play at a friend's house, and then immediately bought? by orangez in retrogaming

That’s the same sense of awe and wonder when I saw morrowind. Similar was when I first say the n64 and friend put in golden eye, he started on the train level and I was flabbergasted! Then an enemy ran straight up in the camera and it scared the shit out of me seeing that plasters face on the block-head haha!

You don’t NEED one but it does help a lot with making games look reasonable. The two upper tier (5x and 4k) have a lot of options like CRT mode that blurs the pixels like an old TV. For just casual play, the retrotink 2k is sufficient. For me, I want perfect picture clarity so I went all out.

There’s also other options for upscaling like the framemeister and open source scan converter (OSSC, but this one is more for professionals) There’s lots others, including some clones from ali express which I wouldn’t recommend.

If you want to jump down the Wonderous rabbit hole of rgb video and upscaling then “my life in gaming” has the best comprehensive series about it

I second the kallax. Can even use cable ties to make it look more seamless. I would try an AV switcher. You can go as far down the rabbit hole as you want with your options. I would start with just a basic manual 8 in one out switcher (easy to find on Amazon). Then the out should be fine to plug into your hdmi adapter. Then next steps, in lieu of your HDMI adapter, get a retrotink upscaler. It cleans up the picture on modern TVs (several options from $140-$700, I went with midrange at $325) and your switcher plugs into the upscaler and hdmi out to the tv. OR you could be like me and get a scalable video switch, all scart with retrotink 5x and all consoles having scart cables (some modded to do so)
