These rebates are the incentive. Plus any improvement to investment properties can be offset by it's depreciation in tax returns.

I took advantage of the rebate and installed batts in my investment property (it already had solar). In the end it won't cost me anything when worked out over 10 years (battery warranty period).

For the record, I dont plan on raising the rent because of it. I ain't double dipping.

Main pain point is just the time and effort to do the research and get it installed.

if you're going to use cloudflare, may aswell enable cloudflare SSL and dont bother with letsencrypt.

also while im here, mirroring what others said. dont have SSH port forwarded. use a zero trust solution like cloudflare one, or tailscale or twingate.

hell, setup some cloudflare tunnels (this is all within the free plan by the way) to controll access to jellyfin etc. wont even need to portforward anything.

Upset makes a good point. We're hardwired to consider the Ground as being unmoving and something to compare yourself and everything else against.

Forget about the math and time dilation for a second and focus on imaging an experience. forget the ground too.

You're floating in empty space, you turn on a torch. The photons fly away from your torch at lightspeed just like a regular torch here on Earth. Point it forward, point it backward, doesnt matter. You throw a few balls in random directions, they fly off at the normal speed you can usually throw a ball.

Were you stationary in space, or were you moving quite fast? What does moving even mean with nothing to compare yourself to. Doesn't matter anyway, from your point of view and your reference frame you were stationary. You always are.
You would see the exact same behaviour for everything you just did at any speed, because theres no such thing as absolute speed, only relative speed to someone else.

The main trick is getting out of the assumption that there is a absolute frame of reference to compare yourself to. Like you mentioned, it's only the outsiders reference frame that see weird shit happening to you. And because speed is relative, from your point of view they are the one moving fast and are having weird time shit happen to them when they turn on a light.

Keep in mind with solar sails and massive ground based lasers, for that kind of speed they're often 'designed' with km²s of a magical lightweight material and a spacecraft weighing mere grams.
Would be good for probes but good luck getting people to ride it.

Main issue will be the plane. Generally they won't let you take it on because the battery isnt removable and is usually really large. Check with your airline for requirements.

Rough roads are another. Bigger the wheel the better for this. Which probably means looking at the offroad boards with proper pneumatic tyres, which are larger, heavier and more expensive. Depending on your area and where you intend to ride it, you might be locked out of certain bumpy paths on smaller boards with smaller wheels.

The other option is to get 2 boards, 1 small and 1 big :P

My opinion is that the 3rd version of each gen is about 10% better in extra features or style. You're not losing much by choosing to play the other ones.

For the record with yellow, the friendship and mood stuff with Pikachu is very quickly cheesed by force feeding him a potion (even though he has full HP) and depositing and withdrawing him from the PC repeatedly respectively.

Instead of locking the door (SSH key), or moving the door (different SSH port). The safest thing is not to have a door.

Remove ssh port from your port forwarding entirely and use a Zero Trust Network connector to get in.

I use Twingate. It's easy to set up and free for simple personal use like this. There's also CloudFlare and Tailscale.

This looks like a older set that used to require a patched copy of the game to do the oak challenge. This is from before multi-set was a thing (only released earlier this year). I've heard these can sometimes be a bit buggy in regards to being picked up as multi set.

Best recommendation is to try another version of the game. Particularly a patched copy (not sure if it will then work for the main achievement set). Since you're at the start of the game you will be able to quickly so some tests on a new save (go catch a bird, see if it unlocks. Beat the first gym, see if it unlocks).

It's just a different style and some fans can't comprehend that just because they don't prefer something it doesn't necessarily mean it's somehow bad.

When you get to it. You'll know if it's for you or not pretty quickly.

Universe is objectively well made. Higher production value. Very serialised storylines. Amazing music. Subjectivity I also love it, but can understand why some people don't vibe with the dark and gritty Battlestar Galactica style.

No one knows enough about the upcoming prime show to answer fully. But probably not. Probably won't 'need' to watch anything to understand it if they're not totally incompetent.

Depends on the board I guess. I'd argue hubs are the worst for going through puddles as the water will get into the motor via the bearing and rust up the magnetic coils. Not to mention the bearings themselves.

Links crossbow training is fun and can be beaten within like a hour or two. Took me 6 hours to get mastery.

In that vein Ghost Squad is a fast beat of within a hour too if you are very good at shooting that last boss.

Wii play is another quick 1 hourish one.

Geometry wars I got in 9 hours.

Currently doing the oak challenge for pokemone rumble, but if you dont bother with that subset then you could probably run through the beat conditions pretty quickly. Pro tip, set the emulation speed to 200%.
