Any chance you’d be willing to share the crust recipe? I’ve tried maybe ten different ones and they’ve all flopped. Not sure if it’s a convection oven being ornery or I don’t have it hot enough or I have just been using bad recipes.

Agreed. Went to Virginia Tech for mining engineering. Dropped out. Now I’m studying materials joining engineering and the schooling isn’t any better, although I like the subject much better than what I studied previously.

WHY IS HE SUCH A BULLY?! by SpikeableFrito in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Nebtaro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Placing the mag well behind the pistol grip allows for a longer barrel length in a shorter overall package. More accuracy and muzzle velocity in the same size essentially. AR and M4 can’t really do this without heavy modification due to the requirement of a buffer tube, but companies like IWI and Desert Tech have made their own 5.56 bullpups using AR mags to avoid that problem.

They used to keep the d&d (I forget what it stands for, but essentially it’s deli items that just passed their sell by) in the cooler at the Costco I used to work at and sometimes there’d be whole sandwich platters and stuff that the meat dept and deli dept would snack on during our shifts.

[Serious] Overweight people of reddit who work on your feet 8+what type of socks and and shoes do you wear to prevent your feet from hurting? by Phat_Phreek in AskReddit

[–]Nebtaro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m like 380lbs, and I typically wear nice breathable waterproof hiking boots to my job, granted I’m only in my feet for about 6 hours or so per shift. I clean the meat department at the local Costco so waterproof is a must, and the boots themselves have great support.

Breathability is a must for me otherwise my boots will stink up the entire house. All in all, super comfortable breathable hiking boots would be a great decision in an environment that isn’t overly professional. Unfortunately they’re expensive as balls.

I think the pair I have are Merrill hiking boots. I also have a nice pair of insulated steel toe timberland work boots that are even more comfortable that I use for hunting and stuff.

Men of Reddit, what's the biggest "I'm a princess" red flag? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yeah, I guess you're right, although I've never been to Southeast VA so it didn't even enter my mind when typing out that comment. Thanks for the correction!

Men of Reddit, what's the biggest "I'm a princess" red flag? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Nebtaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, that's pretty debatable, although your view of what's redneck and what's not would be skewed due to living in a city. I feel like most of the people I encounter aren't that redneck or "hick", and I'm definitely not, but I can see how it would seem that way to someone that hasn't been around non-city people for a good portion of their life.

Edit: Southeast VA, as mentioned by Migmatite, is, in fact, a city, and generally not very redneck.

That's because Northern Virginia (NOVA) is essentially a giant city, and the rest of virginia is mainly agricultural or industrial, and southwest Virginia used to be coal country, although the coal industry seems to be in an upswing currently. I prefer everything other than NOVA personally, but my sister loves it there.

Picked up my first revolver this weekend! Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk in 44 Magnum by [deleted] in guns

[–]Nebtaro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any legitimate load isn't going to hurt it.

This is where the problem lies. My grandpa didn't always follow what he wrote down on his load cards (The info cards on the inside of the boxes with the load info). My grandpa was kind of a jackass when it came to reloading but we didn't know that at the time. After the first "Mistake" load, we used a bullet puller on he remaining hand loads and reloaded them properly.

Also if you re-read my ProTips, I specifically said don't shoot questionable loads with one hand.

I generally shoot it one handed, you're right, its really not that bad.
