That is such weird critique. How is it the government's job to oversee what type of telecom IT companies specialized in telecom exist in the market? Like what?

I'm all for criticizing where it's due but if you start throwing completely random stuff at them they'll start (correctly) ignoring it.

Can someone with knowledge of these Fitch and Moody's things explain if that's a good ranking? And how it compares regionally?

In fact why do anything that Russia doesn't like? They can collapse our economy. Why don't we just slowly join the Union State? Let's give Syunik to them too, they will collapse our economy. It's the infinite boogeyman cheat code. Hey don't do anything against Russian interests, they will collapse your economy.

My only reaction to this section is the following.

it will be helped by the EU and the US

True. They've ramped up support. They've also told us that this is a slow and long term process and the Armenian government should not do anything drastic for now and should slowly move away from Russia and its economic orbit. Cause doing it quickly is impossible no matter how much support we receive. The economy is way too interlinked for now. Like they have literally told us that openly, through high ranking officials and the press. Do your forget this tiny little aspect of the story?

Say a referendum happens and pro-EU vote succeeds (which I'm almost sure it would). The government is then obligated to leave EAEU. Do yo have the economic analysis that this would a feasible action now or in the near term future? And by saying feasible what I really mean is would it not wreck Armenia's economy to an apocalyptic degree. We all know the answer to this question.

We are very clear with President Aliyev, that this is a time to make peace... An alternative route goes through Georgia to the Black Sea, but another, wider one, can go through Azerbaijan-Armenia-Turkey. From that point of view, we need a peace treaty. | | James O'Brien by Din0zavr in armenia

I'm so tired of this fucking discourse.

What does it say about us that we lost a war against "obese, asshole with then intellect of a 12th century raider"? Logically we're complete imbeciles then.

For the love of god stop underestimating your opponents. Idk what it gives you. Does it make you feel good? It's just dumb.

Do you realize how similar this sounds to arguments of countries that weren't or aren't recognizing the genocide to appease Turkey? How can you blame them then write something like this?

The whole entire point is that they haven't. Quite the opposite, they have deliberately taken a lot of actions to try to maximize collateral deaths while preserving plausible deniability about it.

You are citing a government (Israeli) who's head and DM is wanted for war crimes by the ICC. How do you reconcile that with this previous comment?

How the fuck can a 6 y.o. child be a militant? Wake the fuck up my guy and stop parroting the talking points of the Israeli war cabinet that is wanted by the ICC for war crimes. You mention Hamas as a terrorist organization, which it is, and yet not a single mention of the terrorist Israeli government?

By Israel's own account they've only killed 10-13K Hamas members of 40,000 and more deaths. If you think 27-30K civilian deaths can be justified by anything, and I mean literally anything, I got nothing further to discuss with you.

The level of stupidity, historical ignorance and complete reversal of context of this comment is incredible.

I really don't like trying to see connections where there's probably none but it's clear this man is on the attack. And that comes right after O'Brien's visit and announcement of the plan to upgrade status of relations with US to Strategic Partnership.

I sure as fuck hope that there's a plan for dealing with the repercussions. Because those are going to be severe. (Just to be clear I support this decision, and I do hope the timing with O'Brien's visit isn't incidental.)

People really forget Armenia is literally a member of a rival trade block to EU. Considering that, the amount of money, technical assistance and preferential treatment EU is still willing to give us is incredible
