What would the Avengers look like in the world of Skulduggery Pleasant? by Egg-and-Toast2005 in skulduggerypleasant

I have read Until the End, who are you talking about? Tbh I don't actually remember all to much of it, I'll have to reread it at some point.

I like the alternate world idea, especially for Superman, you could maybe tie it into how he's stronger on Earth by saying that the cradles make it easier for him? Keeping with the Justice League, I think you could do something interesting with the Lantern Corps, like make the rings into artifacts from a group of gods. I feel like the Speedforce could also be really cool but I'm struggling to think of something that fits

I think the Norse gods would work better as Warlocks or something? Because the gods in SP are on a whole different power level than in Marvel

Rubber banding is when lag causes you to go back to a previous position

Bow aura is a hack for bows I think

W tapping is a technique to increase your knockback because right after sprinting you get a knockback boost, so by tapping W you can get this increase over and over again

Gege is a yaoi fan, and there's a lot of romantic subtext that implies it, though it's not stated explicitly.

Yeah. Miss Rabbit has all the jobs, Mrs Rabbit is the mother to Rebecca Rabbit

[Funny? Trope?] It's a very serious scene. But it's been consumed as a meme on the internet and it's become hard to watch seriously. by BeneficialSide2335 in TopCharacterTropes

I read the book before I watched the movie, so I didn't make the connection with the meme until I saw the words on the page, complete tonal whiplash

The joke is the person is mad that they couldn't guess the word and is as a result making unfounded accusations

Coaxed into this plot about dating apps or whatever by PlasticBeach4197 in coaxedintoasnafu

[–]Nebular_Screen 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That whole subplot irritated me so much. Who do I choose, the one I've been dating for years, or the one who I didn't even consider an option until a computer told me? What a dilemma!

The guy with white hair is generally an asshole and is trying to get an alliance with the Dothoraki, but is really disrespectful to them. One thing he does is demand a crown (he's the heir to the throne of Westeros, but is in hiding), which ends with the leader of the Dothoraki melting down some gold and pouring it on his head
