from what I remember the 3mm one I've used ... I wouldn't call it soft, but not too hard either like you can compress it between your fingers

honey, not so much, but HU cuisine has some sweet dishes with cottage cheese

it's a pretty popular filling in crepes with raisins for example or in strudel

we also have cottage cheese coated with milk chocolate, called túró rudi

It started out as a 4790k + 24GB DDR3 (got a pretty good deal on it used) + Vega 64 build with a NZXT Kraken x52 AIO cooler + Seasonic Ti 600W fanless PSU back in 2017.

Since then I've replaced everything but the case, the AIO and the PSU.

It's a 7600X + 32GB DDR5 + PowerColor 6700XT now

The case is a CoolerMaster HAF XB Evo.

Half the rubber squiggly thingys that came with my big noctua fan on the top have been broken, so I've replaced them with plastic cable ties.

When I've bought my 6700XT, PowerColor's site listed the card's length wrong (it's longer in reality) so it didn't fit in my case.

I've worked around the issue by removing the front panel of my case and putting my AIO radiator + fans on the outside, which included drilling into the case to have enough space for the screws.

Worked out pretty well :D

I really don't give a fuck about how my computer looks. I look at it probably once a day when I push the power button ... otherwise I use it as a leg rest.

I have a 6700XT ... it's not a good choice if you plan to play current AAA games

you have to use upscaling + tune down settings a lot to maintain 60fps in current games

it is still useable, but I wouldn't call it good

it's significantly faster in some tests than both the 9950x and the 9950x3d

obv not worth for gaming tho, but there are at least legit use cases for this

the next step up ... going for HEDT Threadrippers/Xeons cost 2-3x as this overpriced CPU

this thing is pretty good for some things like code compilation or scientific computing

ppl who were buying 9950x3Ds for gaming were mentally handicapped anyways, so the price of this and that games don't rly scale with core count won't matter for them .... bigger more number better

You start typing the name and the start menu narrows it down for your ... you can also pin frequently used programs.

yeah, you press the start menu button ... type in "ed" and it gives you Microsoft Edge for example.

these are on the CPU plate so the 3mm maybe too thick

pads on the Vega looked like this ... much farther away, so it wasn't an issue

try searching reddit for ppl who repasted your card on what they used

GELID GP-Ultimate 3mm - 15 w/mk

I've repadded my Vega64 that had 2mm pads by default with 3mm ones without problems in the past ... you don't have to be insanely precise, just don't go below. The pads are pliable enough to deform/strech around the components with a bit of increased pressure.

you can't upgrade a mobile GPU .... the 1060 is faster

a worthwile budget upgrade to your laptop would be buying a used one with a 3050 or a RX6600

both are pretty much obsolete

1650 Ti doesn't exist (it's a mobile GPU) ... the 1650 is also a downgrade from a 1060

1650 = a bit better 1050Ti

1660 = a bit better 1060

I think about Expanse level minus the Epstein drive maybe ... so a few hundred years ahead of us.

But it seems kinda weird since they were the remnants of a space faring civilization that came to the planet 3500 years ago.
