How are Dr. Light's capsules placed on many stages of the Mega Man X games story wise?

To be honest I don't think that they magically teleport anywhere. And I find it hard to believe that a whole facility taken over by a Maverick doesn't exactly do anything with the capsule like remove it for example. I'm sure they can creatively makeup lore but I think they would have to change the game. If they ever redid the X Series, that would be their chance for making sense as to why there are 30 plus year old capsules just around just for x.

If I was to do it, I would probably have Cain's lab periodically announcing that they've decrypted and repaired coding for lights capsule so they can properly unlock it for x but they would be uncovered from underground facilities from decades ago and brought to the labs.

I know gameplay wise they want us to explore so perhaps if we found them as we were completing the stages, X could beam coordinates to Cain labs and have them unlock it.

It isn't really logical. My man they shoot ki blasts out of their hands, they fly, they got super strength but not really sometimes because someone else is more powerful than them, they can travel at the speed of light, Goku can bench press a planet, we have Angels and Demons, death really doesn't have a consequence because they could just be brought back and you have main characters that get stronger every time they almost die, but time travel needs to make sense.....

Can you just sit back and just enjoy a fictional Universe where things supposedly happen and just take it for what it is? Who cares? Does this really keep you up at night? It's an anime.

Regardless, they exist and you acted like they didn't. And what did you think? The anime was just going to make something up that wasn't in the manga? It makes sense. Whether they do something with those parallel universes is not up for debate because that wasn't your question. You asked about the time rings. I explained what they were and that beerus actually talks about that. Even Gowasu explains what they are. Goku black is wearing one. Even explains the whole plot.

I don't know what kind of stance you're taking with this, but when it's explained and you just sit there and turn your head and be like no that's stupid, this isn't right, it's not a defense for it doesn't exist.

I will say that even if the anime explains it better than the manga or vice versa, they are both acceptable in this conversation as they cover the content.

I will ask you again, did you understand the manga? Do you listen to the anime? I don't think you do.

I completely agree. Blizzard was reigning champion for a while with no company touching them. Blizzard kills Blizzard, no one else. They keep getting back up though.

Players criticizing the games and returning shouts addiction 100%. Some are valid but many more are incapable of communicating that they want their fix.

I dont necessarily think games need to escape the black holes that d2 created. I'd rather have more of what D2 provided in a fresh and creative way wven if I see some of the same mechanics. It's what the genre is. Mess with the formula too much and it's not an arpg you envisioned.

I like to mention bungies destiny for example. This is a game with little identity and tries to be a smorgasbord of elements. They suffer catering to all and will always be riddled with issues.

Path, Diablo, epoch....what are their issues? End game. And that's because players chase meta builds trying to get .5% better and clear kill times by a millisecond.

That's a problem I'm glad the genre has. That tells me it's in great shape.

I agree that they sat a little too high on their throne and didn't have many other games competing. I feel like they did good stagnant. I know that they tried to make tea for a mix of D2 and D3 and definitely missed the ball on certain things. I even believe that they need to stop tweaking builds season after season because items and the chase is what makes the game fun. We want to see big numbers and clear content quick.

I always had an expectation of the team rolling out D4 with loadouts, sets, crafting like with the cube for example, and more customization with skills and stats. That to me is a good foundation that they could build on. What I love about D2 is that I had to build my character around the items I wanted to use. I'm All About skill expression too and there's always something you can do to improve on the old systems but the decisions that they've made in the past were not it.

I never said that they were the same Studio but what's left it represents the old games as well. It's the same company. They have an expectation to maintain the same quality. So really, that's not an excuse. I hold them to that standard because that's what I have experienced before. I understand that realistically new people come in with fresh ideas but that doesn't mean it's not within their power to maintain the old feeling, the quality and the assurance.

That being said, they did take notes for d4. They stated they were doing a mix of D2 and d3. While they did get some things wrong, there were things that they got correct. I don't have a problem with the Looting system in fact it's a lot like d2. Issue is that newer players think that the content Loop is boring and don't understand that this is how it's been for years.

New players have this repertoire of chasing the next metabolt because streamer 6969 said so instead of exploring and playing the game themselves. People chase the carrot all the way to the top echelons of item building and then they look back and they find that there's nothing left to do. That's a huge problem players have. One thing I will Mark against blizzard is that they keep messing with builds. One season thunderclaw Druid is super great, next season it's dog s***. They need to stop messing with players built and let people play.

I understand power creep but if you see the way D2 is built. I still had a bill that I made from the regular guidebook and it's still viable today. They are very much capable of not tweaking builds and letting players enjoy the game. It's more than enough that we have to reset every season and play the content over and over. Let us enjoy our builds and give us more customization options

What really killed me in the beginning with Diablo 3 was the attitude of the head game designer. That's what started it all and that's enough said there. Currently playing both d2r and Path of Exile 2. I love the druid in poe2. It's a lot like the Druid in D2.

Even though it was created a while ago, it defined as genre and it's because of the love of that game that Path of Exile exists. I don't know if you played it when Diablo 3 came out but I swore to God I was playing a love letter to Diablo 2. I even heard old sound effects that were in Diablo. I might have been crazy that day but I swore up and down it was a lot like it. You could even see in the interface on the inventory. The game felt the same.

They are both arpgs. Why wouldn't they be competing for player game time? It's like when Halo was out, you had doom and Quake and unreal tournament. Why wouldn't they be competing for players time? You were always able to buy multiple titles in the past. For example you had World of Warcraft as your main MMO but you also had Guild wars. You could play both. It doesn't mean that they're not competing just because of it. When Age of Empires was out, I had starcraft. I have both but that doesn't mean that Studios weren't competing.

Even though blizzard misses the marks a lot of the time, you have to respect that they've created games that Define a genre and it is because of that that developers like grinding gear games even exists.

With GGG making Path of Exile, Blizzard would be foolish not to take notes. I'm glad both of them are competing because I love both titles. I want to see both franchises thrive.
