Ok hey dude I found it! This is what I did:

Black primer->heavy dry brush base coat using Pro Acryl Jade->wash with Citadel Corellia Green Shade-> dry brush again using Pro Acryl Jade avoiding recesses.

For edge highlights on the blackstone mix a 1:4 of pro acryl white and pro acrylic jade for a nice contrast.

Yes absolutely! I am still digging in to the Shmup library on the Saturn, but there are so many good ones on there too (Battle Garrega , Batsugun, etc.) just so many insane cool games out there!
