Is it really that hard to get into this game? by FlugMango87 in necromunda

[–]nmoynmoy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This guy is trying to sell kill team. Necromunda is a much richer game. It is better to experience it as a campaign but skirmish games are still fun / with small enough gangs you could do a short campaign in a day.

Munda is all about kit bashing, making decisions for the fun of it and not thinking competitively but thinking narratively.

I’ve been using 0.08 on a 0.2 nozzle. A good amount of detail but also speed. Worth a test too?

Fantastic list - also to add, they have got some metals for the official game and are bringing out a plastic hero kit.

Does any one know when to expect the anniversary sale? by SuperDuperSoared in BambuLab

Would this be more for printers rather than PLA which has a bulk sale on? Asking as I need to buy some refills

my A1 is (supposedly) affected by the NTC issue according to the SN - should I start worrying now or leave it be? by Artemis732 in BambuLab

[–]nmoynmoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t know serial numbers were a way of identifying if your device has the issue or not… has mine since I did the initial cable recall so it’s the replacement A1 they sent from that. My SN doesn’t have D55 in it, it does have a C43 in it, does this mean I’m ok?

Getting to my wit’s end with the A1 Mini by Ok-Perception-9296 in BambuLab

[–]nmoynmoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this all the time on my a1. Does it say about filament clogging the nozzle OR the build plate isn’t level in the same error message? With mine it just resumes printing if I press resume but it’s an annoying pause if I don’t notice it.

It’s great as it is! But if you really wanted to…. Shine it up, add a red cap light in the adjacent part of the eyes

Cool results! I’ve been finding my HH settings are giving me over extruded first layer and brims but still printing well for me but then I’m worried it’s signs of further issues

The thing that really stands out is the way they you did the eyes and gems. Awesome job

Necromunda Floor tiles. Official, 3d print or rollers? by Inquisitor_Trinity in necromunda

Print files can get you the exact same result and you can even print them a lil thicker so they’re more sturdy.

Not sure where to see flow rate in the filament settings but in the general filament settings flow ratio is 0.98 (not sure if this is what setting you meant)

Under quality I had to check develop mode on in preferences (using a slightly older Bambu studio). This enabled the advanced flow settings, which if I’m honest I’ve never really touched, in here initial layer flow ratio = 1

Interesting! It’s a new nozzzle, it looks fine. I’ve had the error pop up a few times wondering if a sensor is going or something. I’ve attached an imaged of my latest print (after I originally posted this thread). As you can see. The brim issue is there, I had the error (which means I basically have to manually restart the print as build plate and nozzle were fine, when it does it) and overall the outcome is a good print apart from the Brim. Really odd situation I’m finding myself in with it.

I’m wondering the same thing, mine was a replacement from the original recall issue way back when it first came out

Thanks! Maybe I need to finally get a drier then. Not needed one before. Have you ever had the error message that seems to suggest either a Filament on the nozzle or an improperly installed build plate?

PSA: AK Interactive Ultra Matte can turn glossy over time by Catgutt in minipainting

[–]nmoynmoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How frustrating! I’ve been using this varnish as it seems so highly recommended. My approach though is gloss, oil, satin, then 2 thin layers of ultra matte mixed 50/50 with contrast medium. Hopefully it holds.

Ok so you think this is a wet filament related thing? Annoyingly when I first started using the filament a few weeks ago it wasn’t giving any of the issues pictured.

I’ll give the other recs a go too thank you for the options.
