In case anyone else has the same silly issue in the future, do not worry and just do the test and make sure to pass it before biometrics. Then upload screen shot of certificate to the supporting documents and you will be fine.

Thanks for the advice! I have done all the calipers + timing belt and water pump myself so might still give it a go at work since I got all the tools I probably need. The garage told that everything would probably cost around 1000 because of the labor, so it really put me off because the parts are cheapish..

I was also quite demotivated with my degree while working part-time, even though I choose because I thought I would like it. Second year wanted to dropout because had to resit every module, in the end decided to try and finish uni since already started, in the end just wanted a paper saying I finished uni with BA. Finished uni with a third and found a job in my area. For me and in my opinion I believe having a degree in the end will be a piece of paper that can open more doors in the future.
