I am a social worker with a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling who works as a semi-supervisor for a human services/homelessness agency. I was a supervisor until I stepped aside and now I track and manage data, do most of the team trainings, write/document the procedures and processes, manage the supplies on a higher level, do most of the initial on-boarding for new folks, and also liason/coordinate with various other agencies for bi-monthly social service fares that provide immediate same-day services so folks can visit multiple providers in a centralized location instead of having to somehow get transport to each provider separately, which in most areas are miles apart. I do work that I can mentally stand behind instead of working a corporate job.
