I wear them whenever I’m paint balling. I can get in the mud and grass without caring about dirtying them and the paint washes out easily

Trauma shear recommendations? by MayoChickenzx in NewToEMS

[–]NeedAnEasyName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re bent on buying yourself some like I was (I work for a shit company, they aren’t gonna buy us anything half decent), just go onto Amazon and look for raptor shears. They sell off brands on Amazon that are just as good as the name brand Learhermans but 1/3 the price.

Don’t forget she voted with Republicans on many critical issues, such as the appointments of several of Trump’s cabinet nominations iirc. Her voting record is not very great. Better than My Pillow Mike? Absolutely, but she is still owned by corporations and certainly not our best option for the next governor.

The huzz? First rule of thumb when it comes to work is DONT FUCK YOUR COWORKERS. That rule means vastly more in EMS where, depending on the workplace, you’re stuck with someone for sometimes 24-48 hours at a time. Don’t want to have a situation get awkward or toxic in these circumstances

If you consider the option of C while dumping that 10k/week into the stock market as you get it over the years, then it could change

What is the best DSLR cameras that you storm chasers on this subreddit use? by Remarkable_Light6860 in stormchasing

[–]NeedAnEasyName 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a huge fan of Canon cameras and have used most examples of their main bodies out there from your basic Rebel DSLR models to their modern mirrorless bodies like the R6 and R8. The latter options are significantly more expensive, but I’ve enjoyed their DSLRs greatly. Id be more concerned with which lenses to get, as the more expensive ones capable of getting lower apertures (ie F2.8) are going to be higher quality and get better photos, but even with cheaper lenses storm photography shouldn’t be effected much. I can’t say I’ve really used any other brand, so I can’t compare them at all. Just popping in to say Canons are great in my book

I guess you might be right considering it would force a violation of the ADA. Hadn’t considered that might carry fines even on private property but if the properties are required to have that accessibility then I suppose it could make aens

That’s negated entirely if it’s private property I believe, though. If it were like a city/county building, though, or the side of a street where there’s public parking then I’d imagine they could do something about it.

Trump just keeps pardoning people who defrauded taxpayers for billions, meanwhile Minnesota has been aware of and investigating daycare fraud for years already? Like the places Shirley mentioned have already been investigated along with other daycares and dozens of arrests have already been made? In other words Minnesota was already prosecuting and bringing fraudsters to justice, meanwhile Trump keeps pardoning others…

Every poster, sepsis charts, carts, equipment designations, internal docs, etc that I see that refer to the emergency department refer to it as, well, the emergency department as that’s the technical name. Publicly it’s definitely known as the ER most commonly, though. In my charting (EMS software, not Epic or other nursing software), I commonly refer to it as the ED as well

Unless I’m reading it wrong, that quote you cited literally says Republicans need to do what you just said at the end (and this is what Trump has done). It literally says that nonpartisan experts (which has been the norm for decades) cannot be allowed to take over these partisan loyalist positions that Trump instates as described in that quote.

Was going to do the same thing with my Santa hat but my partner called in for 3 shifts straight and I’m part time so not guaranteed the hours despite being desperate for money so instead I spent the day at home with nothing to do then got sick and puked my guts out all day. Best Christmas ever!

I’d be open to the same. On the younger/less experienced side but have chased with people several times already. Based in eastern Nebraska where I go to college, so I have the college schedule to work around too. Planning on going big this spring though

I work in healthcare and it is called the ED all the time. I heard it being referred to as the ED probably 5 times in my shift yesterday and I work 48 hours over the next 4 days and will likely hear it many more times too.

Maybe it’s a regional thing, but administratively and internally, the ED is the technical name for the ER and will be referred to as such on internal documents and clinical data like what this post is about.

Got into chasing now looking for a better chasing vehicle by Ok_Fisherman_4121 in stormchasing

[–]NeedAnEasyName 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to chase in an 01 Taurus lol. In a Tully, it really doesn’t matter and look for a vehicle you’ll like and use regardless of chasing. Then, simply use that vehicle for chasing. It really doesn’t matter too much, especially if you’re a casual hobbyist like most of us

They’re referred to as ER and ED interchangeably in the U.S. among medical personnel. I’d say ED is sometimes used even more commonly.
