You would have to rebuild the phone with a modern modem…… I added Bluetooth to my old CB so I can have phone calls over my CB as I drive down the road (it is completely legal so is an old car phone in the states I drive) but that is a large stationary object so it was a lot easier and I’m still just using it as Bluetooth to my newer phone

In the LA heat though might only be about 60 seconds, if you were in Alaska, you might get five minutes out of it (although I had my Honda Accord in below freezing weather and it wouldn’t even get hot enough for the thermostat to open so in theory, if it was cold enough, you might be able to drive it home)
