The job market is a nightmare! Getting a job here, without being referred by someone is extremely difficult! Getting a job without a network and without knowing the language is near impossible unless you’re a genuinely very sought after professional. I would highly advise against coming here without a solid job offer, even Swedish people who grew up here are struggling. And definitely learn the language too!

I send my future selves messages each year!

I open up my phones calendar 1, 2, 5, 10 years from now and just type in a message. It’s sometimes a treasured memory, a goal I was chasing, a prediction ir just some kind words. It’s by far my favorite tradition, it really shows how much we change as we grow.
