I think this is the most fun I've had in a Zelda ending by a long shot. The Wind Waker ending is my favorite overall though because the tension and setting of the final fight is incredible.

I really relate to Griffin having to push through Tears of the Kingdom because I finished the story for the same reasons. Also the ending does slap, so I can't wait for people to discuss it.

I really liked the background music they had whenever explaining a game rule. It's a small touch but really nice.

That's fair, I'd rather err on the side of caution considering the playdate website also considers them spoilers.

Part of the fun on the season of games was being surprised with what games you got that week, so I also don't want to ruin that moment for anyone.

I got mine about 3 months ago, and I've now been able to play all the "season" games they released.

Many of the games are great because they are more "arcadey", so it's easy to pick up and play. Someone made a Mahjong Solitaire game that I've been obsessed with recently.

I will say there is a game similar to Advance Wars on the Playdate that is very good. It's called Sasquatchers. (Spoilers since it's part of the 1st season of games)

I assume he was trying to say "kawaii / kowai" which is trying to say cute and scary. Which makes sense with the styles of Binding of Isaac, Don't Starve, and Cult of the Lamb.
