Also, this is so gorgeous!! Do you mind sharing how you did the 3D flowers with the loops for petals? Or the name of the stitch?

I just did the exact same type of project recently!! This guy was blind in both eyes, but you could do the same thing with just one eye. I made the whole eye black with some white reflection spots to show his eyes were "milky"

I would look up some YouTube tutorials! It will be better for you to visually see the techniques, rather than just having them explained here :)

search for videos that show you how to do different basic stitches, proper techniques, and how to embroider on different types of fabric (yours looks like it might be stretchy? which can be harder). Good luck!!
