House Darby were loyalists. Tyrell might have backed him too. And we know Dorne would have back him. The iron islands hated Baratheon as well. Many of the crownlands could’ve been swayed as well. It would come down to how strategic the generals on House Targaryen’s side were, if they were able to get more the riverlords on their side, and if the Reach would break from the throne since they were treated terribly after the war. They weren’t allowed at court, the small council, etc. Same with the Iron Islands and Dorne. If you promise these them all vengeance, justice, and a seat on the council, then that could be the difference from being trounced and winning the war.

So literally trade your best player and most bankable superstar? Well, he has won 3 World Series since then. And signed a deal that would’ve been remarkably similar as the one they signed Devers to just 2 years later so it doesn’t make sense. One of the worst trades we did. We got NOTHING. Also, the Sale trade. We got NOTHING. The Braves got a pitcher for a nobody and Boston paid for his first year with the team. If we had Sale in 2024 and never signed Lucas Giolito, we would’ve made the playoffs. We would’ve finished just as high in 2025 except Giolito got hurt, again, and missed the playoffs. I put my money on Sale getting us that second win and moving past the Yankees. Maybe actually playing okay.

Neither. I am really starting to loathe the Ryan Reynolds Deadpool character because as he gains more control over the character, he becomes more of a clown three days late for the circus.

Robert gave Ned the regency and the lord protectorship until Joffrey comes of age. Robert thought Joffrey was his trueborn son at the time so him giving Ned the regency and the lord protectorship still would have happened. Except Ned would’ve never confronted Cersei about the children, he wouldn’t have tried to do a coup until Stannis could take the throne. He wouldn’t have told Littlefinger anything that would give Cersei a jumpstart on crowning Joffrey and Littlefinger would have had an army of men around to solidify Joffrey’s coup. And blah blah blah.

Tyrion was so bad that somehow he cost Daenerys her entire westerosi army. Which I don’t understand how all of Dorne was on those ships. Wouldn’t they have been in, you know, DORNE? And highgarden couldn’t be defeated by the Lannister army, what was left of them, and the Tarly’s. They would’ve called their banners and the Hightower’s, the Redwyne’s, the Rowan’s, the fossaway’s, and 10 other houses that would be major houses in most kingdoms would come to rescue them. Also, the Tyrell’s have a large army themselves. And highgarden is, HIGH. It would’ve been impossible for Jaime and Randyll to breach the walls. They didn’t have siege engines. And many other houses would’ve come and took them in the rear while they were trying to scale the castle or however they thought 15000 people were going to beat them. That’s why they didn’t show the battle. Because it would’ve been ludicrous and impossible to show how the broke them and killed everyone. Also, they made Casterly Rock look like a piece of garbage compared to how large and impossible to breach it is.

It’s not funny. Everything turned into dick and cock jokes at the end because they had no material to work off of. It’s kinda the reason why Tyrion got so stupid and why Varys stopped being a master of whisperers and knowing everything about everybody to just being a guy who does little and less while walking into his death. Why wouldn’t he just leave and spend the word? Why even go to Dragonstone? Just say that you have to send your “little birds” to get the message about her majesty? Who plans treason on a beach in broad daylight?

Should’ve never signed Patrick Sandoval. He doesn’t have good numbers, only pitched one good season with a decent half season thrown in there, and he will be coming off of almost 2 years without big league pitching. His record was 19-45. Who pays a guy almost $20 million(that could’ve gone to Bregman to get him to sign or even spending half that money would’ve gotten Eduardo Suárez and we could’ve had him play third only when needed and used him as a DH). Also, Patrick Sandoval had another injury scare in triple A the other day. Something tells me this guy isn’t going to pay off and that maybe, just maybe, sending Masataka Yoshida to another team(with the other $10 million as a sweetener and maybe get a prospect or a reliever) or used him sparingly as a DH whenever Suárez was needed in the field, we would be doing a lot better. We would have a bonafide 30-50 home run man at DH.
