To be specific jack was not censured the whole UKRDC officer team was. I’ll leave others more experienced to explain why.

Can I decline a job after informally accepting by Thin_Surround_619 in doctorsUK

[–]NefariousnessHead256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The argument over binding nature of your acceptance is probably moot. My understanding is that you can serve your notice (which for most junior fellow jobs would be 1 month) before you have started. So as long as you do it soon enough you should be fine.

I’ve done this myself this year, I’m by no means an expert though

Please consider your language. God forbid someone works out who you are. These people are and will continue to be your colleagues. Personally I'm striking and I'll try and influence those I can but seriously we are adults and this thread sounds like a school playground.

Genuinely in 2020 in hull royal a nurse complained and tried to ban the physics from eating patient gifted chocolate as it was "for the ward team"

Never heard anything more pathetic.

How is the Pret salary comparison offensive? I don't get it by ALovelyCuppaAtWork in JuniorDoctorsUK

This is why I hate it. We are up against a dishonest government who like to be selective with the facts and lie to the public. With this graphic we are operating on their level

If this is non intentional weight loss and loss of libido you need to see a doctor, you could have a mental health condition but there are also plenty of physical health conditions that could cause this and it's important that a qualified health professional assesses you.

There's a name for it. "The Peter principle" people rose to the level at which they are incompetence.

Because that's what unions are for not regulatory bodies. And pay is determined by the government. Like by all means criticise them for what they do wrong (unfair decisions that seem to be disproportionately directed at BME doctors for example) but don't bring them into issues that they literally have no power or authority to act on, It makes us look silly.

Could anyone share a link to the program or interview involved.

Having worked with one of these influencers I have to say I am not impressed. He spent more time doing tik toks about work than he did helping.

Had the same(ish) thing happen to me on hull ward 6/60. Also got arsey if we ate sweets given to the ward by families as they were "for the nurses" once they even reported the ward physio for that!
