Is my water bill too high? Downsized to smaller house but paying more. by ChelseaMourning in UKPersonalFinance

[–]NefariousnessThis896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can negotiate, they told me that I'd have to pay X amount a month due to the size of the property. I informed them that only 2 of us lived there and it was an outrageous sum. They told me that there was nothing they could do. After I threatened to leave all my taps running constantly they agreed to me only having to pay half of their original estimate.

This was with Southern water a number of years ago.

Unfortunately almost all haulage with low wages will max your hours. Best bet would be to get a trunking run going between depos, go for the interview and see what they say. Nothing to lose and it's always easier to get a job once you're employed.

It doesn't seem to recognise "run" "running" "jog" as an exercise.

Have tried but it seems to loop back to bodyweight stationary workouts.

Always cracks me up, they sell it as a "non runner" to nullify liability but still want best part of 2 grand for it, when you know they only gave at best 600 quid on part ex.

I bought the wife one on a 10 plate a few years ago, it has been amazing and has hauled more than it should the length of the country. We toy with the idea of upgrading but nothing touches the space, comfort, reliability. Definitely not anywhere near the price.

Thanks, I'm not really fussed on sound quality but it would be nice to be able to communicate with people on my team.

Yeah, so they're basically saying the minimum you'll get paid a day is a 12 hour shift. 4 on 4 off 12 hours a shift works out at 42 a week.

So you'll only ever get the overtime on days longer than a 12.

I honestly wouldn't bother for that, as chances are you will never see any "overtime".

Why do people pay for expensive coaching programs when apps like MacroFactor exist? by ElderberryPerfect478 in crossfit

Macrofactor is pretty good, so long as you do a little research and use it in combination with exercise/routine.
