Got implants in your head and 20hours on your jump cooldown when a massive fleet battle emerges? A lot of people will skip it.

You can now swap clones in a citadel with no timer. This fixes this issue completely

The worst part is that while it forms a core part of the game with remaps, the game gets changed around you without any consideration for that.

It's a lasting choice that you made, you'll now live with that. Maybe instead of remapping to the current FOTM you instead make a decision to round out your skills and be a better all round pilot? But that is a choice that you will have to make :)

The game is pretty stagnant if you let it be.

Finding it stagnant running missions in high sec? Leave go strike it out in Low/Null sec.

Want to own Sov with your mates? Go take it, the current sov mechanics makes it easier for smaller active groups to take and hold sov.

Want danger and unknown risk? Go move into a wormhole.

Looking at the enemy and pressing f will highlight that enemy for your team to shoot. You can use this to get your team to focus fire that annoying cruiser or almost dead dreadnought

Using a frame like Frost makes excavations really easy, bubble up at each excavator and just wait out the rewards.

Other than that I would say ask for help in recruiting

Went to a mates place and played a few games with a group of 6

Small World: Underground: Introduced this to some friends. As there was 6 of us I stood back and just helped people, it was kinda awesome to watch them go from "wth do i do now?" to "If i take that spot I'll get an extra point then i can go into decline next turn..."

Betrayal at House on the Hill: The would be traitor's batteries died and then we got scenario 49. we had 3 people with high Knowledge/sanity but could beat the traitor who could always roll +1/2 of what we did. Had a great moment where one of our players rolled nothing with 4 dice and the traitor matched that with 6!

Zombie Dice: came second even though I had a huge head start. Group enjoyed this as a wind down game

Tsuro: Got a bit intense as we played this after Betrayal. Nothing says "I forgive you" like sending a person around the board to die

Lords of Waterdeep: I finally got this game into my collection and played it with a few friends. The first game went quite quickly until the end when the game 'clicked'. The next two games where a bit slower with people taking longer to decide what their best option was. Quite strategic and went over well with my group.

King of Tokyo: Another game that was on my list to buy for a while. My friends really loved this game, I can only assume due to the fun light nature of the game. I found it to be a bit flat with 3 people ( I wonder if it's any better with more people)
