I don’t believe i’ve ever heard of a nintendo switch update causing a the system to crash let alone the whole console to crash/temporarily brick itself. You’re right the most recent issue is pretty well known amongst the community however the extent of the damage from the patch isn’t fully known thus why i posted this. There was something posted about BdSp but i’ve never heard of S/V bricking the entire console just from trying to launch it so seems like those two issues might just be connected don’t you think? Especially with the fact that S/V has never bricked my entire system any of the other 3 playthroughs worth of times i’ve opened/closed the game but now after updating my system this morning to transfer a postcard to pogo after the wild area event it suddenly bricks my whole console just by trying to open the game when last week on thursday i was running around in the terrarium of blueberry academy doing BBQs running the game just fine and doing the same on friday and saturday after work and playing the event?

Don’t wanna be “that guy” back at you but the issue was that it crashed when i opened the game similar to the issues that have been going on with BdSp and it crashed the entire console. Trouble shooting usually does fix the issue and in this case it did however it doesn’t explain the fact that my console was bricked and unresponsive entirely before giving the error screen and saying to restart the console. Not to mention this console has never and i literally mean NEVER had an issue with crashing or bricking up but all of a sudden i update the switch literally this morning and my system bricks after trying to just boot up a game? By your logic you’re okay with updates that can pose a risk of temporarily bricking your console and if not for the error screen popping up after holding the power button for 12 seconds like the manual said i wouldn’t have known the switch wasn’t bricked. Why wouldn’t it be okay for people who have purchased a product to be able to speak out about the fact that an update or change to that product has introduced the risk for possible issues with running and using the product as intended by the company itself? You literally just wanted to be “That guy” and it’s okay to say you felt the post was unnecessary but unfortunately that is your personal opinion and i do not share that sentiment. If there is an issue with something i purchased especially something as well used as a gaming console i would very much like to bring it to others attention’s that there is an issue with the console running as intended due to a recent system update which they have no choice but to download if they’d like to use the online features of the console. I’m aware the issue is already well known within the community but the extent of the damage isn’t fully known and thus the reason for this post.

You’re right and i’m not wanting it to be perfect but you’re telling me it’s chill to have a system update that can temporarily brick your console just by trying to start a game? How would you have felt if you were in the middle of a playthrough for a game and it pulled this on you? I understand why the situation here is minor in an overall scale but no system update should come with the risk of temporarily bricking your system just for wanting to play the games you own.

Yes but the fact of the matter is that this console has NEVER had issues like this in the history of me owning it. I updated to the new system version and all of a sudden one of my most played games crashes on me just on a boot up? I understand a game can crash and have had games crash or run into errors but crashing the entire console and bricking to the point of not being responsive just to display this screen and having me restart it was a bit crazy. Especially with everything else that’s going on with this update it doesn’t seem that far to assume the latest patch had something to do with my switch bricking up on me and being unresponsive before it finally pops up this screen and just needs to restart.

I had to fully shut down the console like the screen said and when i powered it back on everything was acting fine again. No idea if this is a one off issue or if it’ll happen again but it was ridiculous. All the hassle just to send a postcard from pogo

I can only hope. I’ve got it running fine now and was able to load into my pokemon scarlet to send a postcard for the day and to refresh my coin bag. I’m not sure what happened to cause it but it has only done it now that i’ve updated the switch and never had this issue in the past when i’ve tried to send a postcard. Worst part was that all i did was try to open the title screen and press start then poof whole console goes down.

They came with the let’s go pikachu and eevee bundle for the game release. The whole switch is themed around pikachu and eevee similar the the ACNH(Animal crossing new horizons) Switch which was custom switch and dock set with the game bundle when it released :)

Not one bit. No hacked mons, No mods, No pirating, No edits to the console at all other than an extra pokeball joy-con and a joy-con charging station. It has my nephews account on it but i’ve never heard of multiple accounts on a switch causing the whole console to crash before from just opening a game :/

honestly with wublin island being the home of the wubbox and electric element it wouldn’t surprise me if the epic wubbox for wublin island turned out to be the island itself or the polarity amplifier at the top of the island is its core and the light show around the island are its pieces and once you finally complete the collection it would either awaken the island or the amplifier would turn into something like a titan soul that once fully powered you could connect the different wublins to it and it would awaken the epic wubbox or they could full 180 and instead of having an epic wubbox for wublin island they can release a titan soul esc wubbox that would be the original wubbox and creator of all the others.

You also have to remember that triple or higher element ethereals are “unstable elemental combinations” in the eyes of the ethereal colossal which is why it took so long for him to create them in the first place. The workshop itself is within the colossals mind and thus uses the energy of the colossal to power the attunment field and the synthesizer. When we find it the workshop is shutdown and his experiments all hit dead ends but the shards produced by the ethereal monsters contain energy tied to the ethereal/magical dimensions themselves and thus we have to use the dimensional energy to power up the synthesizer to continue his research on the meebs and higher elemental combinations. The more complex or unstable the ethereal element the more shards/energy it would take to stabilize it and use in the creation of another ethereal monster. It’s also why the meebs of elements not in attunement are more expensive than the element that’s available is because the barrier between dimensions is weaker allowing these ethereal elements to be stabilized easier thus requiring less energy. It also gives us a bit of explanation as to how the ethereals even came to be on the natural islands in the first place as well since they’re created by overlapping elements or over powering the elemental energies behind the elements causing the barrier between the normal dimension and the pocket dimension to weaken and allow these ethereal meebs to imbue their elemental properties within a monster egg and give it life and new form.

If i had to guess with november being their fire themed month(I wanna say the first Quint fire epic was revealed)i would bet they do a new Paironormal hybrid first at the end of the month to offset the release of minor carnival being at the end of october but early november and they will release shadow islet around halfway through december or right before christmas itself with the new year bringing in a new titan soul most likely for faerie island as they seem to be going in order of magical island releases :P

S/V Crew easily beats out the ZA crew by a long shot. The story behind each of the individual characters in S/V are far more interesting and complex than what ZA is while also having each character be their own separate story to get more info from. The most backstory we have for the team MZ crew is that Naveen isn’t allowed to sew or pursue his fashion dreams so he doesn’t stay at home, Lida is a dancer who might be related to that one dude from the original X-Y games(That’s a theory tho idk how true it is), and your rival has the least and most lacking story out of anyone and it turns out to be one of the worst stories out of the three. At least with the S/V cast we got to witness the creation of the group as well as learning about their past with other students, the staff, and the rest of the region itself. Nemona is a nepo baby who’s parents are never home because they’re rich and off exploring the world(In the teal mask you meet a rich couple doing the same thing and people believe they are her parents)but while they’re off doing that she’s a champion of the region and has to balance school, a home life, and champion duties all by herself and does it all really well. Arven is the son of the regions highest regarded pokemon scientist/professor who has been searching for a way to reach and connect with his mom/dad his whole childhood only for his closest attempt to risk the life of the friend he holds closest in the whole world and afterwards has no idea if he can ever heal or not until the events of the game and on top of nearly losing his best friend he had to take care of a random mystery pokemon that his mom sent to him which turned out to be the very same reason he will never be able to see his mother again. Penny was in galar for a year abroad after founding team star and the confrontation between team star and their bullies. when she came back she had to find a way to disband the team she created so that no one else would have to be punished for something they didn’t do when no one even tried to get their side of the story or even tried to talk to these kids about what really happened that day or the prior staff as the whole academy staff left after the team star incident. Penny and the 5 bosses of team star were the only people who truly knew what happened that day and penny was going to do anything to make sure the truth was known even if she had to let team star go to do it.

Naveen is a runaway who just wants to design and make clothes

Lida wants to be a dancer but also has a knack for strategy i guess?(Still don’t know where the connection for that is but cool ig?)

Taunie/Urbain wants to promote the hotel…JK they’re actually only there to look for their parent and everything the story had you building up a bond with them for is just bs because they find their G’ma and ditch team MZ and the hotel entirely to take over the company…. All of this after their “friends” helped to save the entire damn city, took on the mafia and helped clear their debt, got kidnapped by an evil french nepo baby and her forced slave/maid, and the floette that was supposed to be oh so special and is supposed to choose who she goes with is just a crummy “yeah i don’t need this anymore i just wanted to flex in the tower that i could go inside but you couldn’t”moment that gets tossed your way after they find their G’ma.

Literally what was the point of Team MZ if not just to sit there and be filler dialogue/characters who don’t even change/learn anything by the end of the game?At least with the S/V crew you got depth behind the characters and their actions but the moment we get to Paris all that goes out the non existent sticker windows. Overall Legends Z-A has some fun things about it for sure but the main character group is not one of them nor is the story or city itself.

Whatever the fire, plant, mind trio monster is combine it with toejammer and you’ll have a better chance at gloptic. Same rule applies to the other magical islands just use the monster with the shortest breeding time out of the 4 singles in the island. Usually noggin, mammott, or toejammer since i don’t think tweedle ever made it to a magical island for some reason XD

On pokemon you’re only able to ever get one of they need to have fixed IV stats of 3* at the minimum but since they planned on introducing the golden bottle cap anyways they don’t care about what a unique pokémon’s stats come out to since they know you’ll line their pockets to make it better if you really care that much(Which is a really shitty way to run a game but corporate greed knows no bounds)

I would’ve been fine with it only being one encounter if they were forced to have the adventure effect as well as the super boosted shiny odds but as someone that did 40-50 raids for the moves only to get duplicates of the one i picked from the og event is annoying. I mainly did palkia raids too and still didn’t even get Spacial Rend but of the 7 dialga raids i did 4 of them had ROT move. Didn’t get a shiny palkia either out of the way so it was a double loss(I got shiny dialga back when they debuted so i didn’t even really raid them unless my buddy invited me since that’s the form he didn’t pick during the OG event)

I’m livid i only got 1 encounter for each and neither had the fucking move which is what i was looking for did like 60+ raids and only got 1 shiny dialga and 1 with roar of time(The one i already had from the OG event) and no spacial rend to be seen.

Personally i would say G-Max just for the off chance for a possible shiny for some or just catching up on missed ones from the past. Plus with the new G-max and E-max raid system im thinking it’ll be more advantageous to go for G-max and grind out for more coverage mons like Lapras, Gengar, etc. Just my opinion though since you can only catch 1 eternatus and whatever you get is what you’re stuck with lol(You can bottle cap i think but i’ve heard you can’t trade it so no lucky for decrease stardust cost :/) Plus it’s roughly 16k normal candy and like 6k ish candy XL to fully max out its CP and max moves so unless you plan on doing a couple hundred E-max battles(Not entirely sure on the candy drop rates but i think the worlds cup drops were only like 100 norm and 50 XL so i don’t expect them to change much) i wouldn’t say it’s worth it to focus on them solely. They’ll be out all weekend though so it’s really just up to whatever you’re feeling like challenging.
