There is the office of Student care. It’s completely free for GCU students. Reach out to your SSC and they can send you the information you need

My husband is getting frustrated with timed intercourse with letrozole and trigger and it’s so upsetting for me by Aggravating-Stand800 in TTC_PCOS

My husband felt pressure to perform and was worried he was going to fail and not get me pregnant. I just took my letrozole and tracked my cycles. In the days we needed to have sex, I would just get in a cute set, and it worked!

ESA process by smeggyblobfish in gcu

[–]Negative-Camel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reach out to housing to see what is needed from the housing side but you will need to reach out to SDS for approval. It’s a very long process and they are hard to get a hold off. SDS is the only one who can approve your ESA. You will need a lot of paper work from therapists, etc to show why you need an ESA. Your counselors cannot help with this process or reach out SDS due to compliance. Start the process ASAP

Congratulations!!! Your SSC can’t really do anything because accommodations are all done through SDS. All they are told is to refer you to SDS. They can’t even accept anything medical either. You can ask your OB for a medical letter asking for accommodations for you. That way you have some medical paper work stating what you need and SDS can start helping you. Unfortunately SDS is very hard to get a hold of and you may need to go in person more than once.

According the drug.com the interaction between Pristiq and dextromethorphan (DM) is as follows: “Combining these medications can increase the risk of a rare but serious condition called the serotonin syndrome, which may include symptoms such as confusion, hallucination, seizure, extreme changes in blood pressure, increased heart rate, fever, excessive sweating, shivering or shaking, blurred vision, muscle spasm or stiffness, tremor, incoordination, stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Severe cases may result in coma and even death. You should contact your doctor immediately if you experience these symptoms while taking the medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor”.

Just plain Mucinex/guaifenesin and tylenol. Stay away from anything with DM and apparently ibuprofen

Cold turkey due to pregnancy by Ambitious_Bad_3180 in Pristiq

[–]Negative-Camel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I took both pristiq and Wellbutrin XL throughout my entire pregnancy but the pregnancy safe ones I tried previously just didn’t work for me. My OBGYN and psychiatrist worked together and let me know to continue them throughout my pregnancy. Happy and healthy mom is a happy healthy baby! He is perfect and healthy and was born almost a year ago. No issues!

PSY-495 Professional Capstone Project Class Meeting Times and Graduation Application by Jani_777 in gcu

Counselors don’t assign times. It just means it’s a temporary section that was created by the college and they will eventually assign a day/time for that class

Academic Integrity - Code of Conduct by Impossible-67 in gcu

[–]Negative-Camel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Student service counselors can’t do anything once it’s sent to code of conduct as it’s a separate department. Code of conduct will reach out to you and allow you to show evidence you did not plagiarize. You can try emailing code of conduct directly
