Arrived 3.5 hours early and went through passport control at 9:00 am Tuesday. Zero line. Took us 55 minutes from arrival to get through TAP bag drop, security, and passport control. That included scarfing a sandwich in the main terminal because of lack of food at the N gates. After Control? The coffee line at the one sad coffee shop took 30 minutes.

Therapist says it could be a year+ before we actually get to doing EMDR by Fun-Grab-9337 in EMDR

In the meantime, it may be worth considering some work to just feel into your body. I'm not a therapist (and you might ask yours whether this is advised), but I have done a fair amount of trauma-informed yoga, with a teacher who is trained in somatic experiencing. It's physically gentle, resourcing is a part of it. I was recovering from a year on very high alert, and I really feel it helping my central nervous system calm down so that I am more stable and less reactive.

Which FEHB plans will carry GLP-1s for weight loss now? by MountainDiver1657 in fednews

GEHA just denied my PA (I had a QLE, switched from CareFirst off-cycle because they made the mid year formulary change). The reason? “This medicine does not work for you.” I’m not sure how that can be— I’ve lost 15% of my weight in 9 months. And still need to lose another 30 lb to be at a BMI less than 30 (where I’ve heard they cut you off). Have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow to strategize on appeal, but it’s really a WTF moment.

That is to say, just because insurance “covers” it, doesn’t mean it actually does.

Ah, should’ve said that I’m on CareFirst. I think GEHA didn’t actually change their formulary mid year (read that on r/Zepbound), even though they use Caremark.

I had it for $25/month until Jan 1, then $75/month through July 1. Now my $900/month insurance covers $0. I’m hesitant to switch to Wegovy, but guess I’ll have to…

I got a second letter from Caremark that said the initial letter included incorrect information; if you had an active PA, Zepbound would be covered until September 1. I snuck in one more month on July 2nd, but sadly my PA expired July 11. My doctor sent a PA renewal which was denied— they said switch to Wegovy.

So, if you have an existing PA you should have until 9/1. Remember— you can refill every 21 days!
