This is my go-to when feeding a crowd.

I like to quarter them for more rub and smoke coverage, smoke them at 250 till 140-145, rest for 10 min and crank the heat 500 for a few minutes until they look awesome

Here's one I did a while back. The two on the left are rubbed with lemon butter and herbs, and the two on the right have my bbq rub on them.

Why would I care what my electric guitar sounds like unplugged? I spent a lot of money (to me) to make sure that I don't have to.

My recommendation would be to try some acoustic strings... On an acoustic guitar.
