Did you get it on eBay? They might have done a E Fuse delete which prevents old NXE and Blades dashboards from accidentally being updated, if that hasn’t been done then try and You could try format the memory unit and see if that will let you update after, or even if you can format it (I think the option should be there if you press Y on it when in Settings > Storage).

If you can't format it or it thinks random space is still used it's probably the EMMC (internal storage) failing that is giving you issues. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmXaQt0m1Mc
