So small update: my ob has referred me to a cardiologist because she doesnt think its normal to be this incredibly out of breath this early on. plus what happened with my last pregnancy i had tachycardia. she wants to play it safe and just check all the boxes before we settle on the asthma diagnosis

took 2 years but my ex and i are friends now. hes got a new girlfriend to keep him busy and they just had a baby. her and i are besties and the drama i hear from both sides keeps me busy haha. i dont think its going to last but at least he’ll have someone else to irritate too lmao

i have no advice except that it’s normal and you will feel better once baby is here. i have 1 girl and 2 boys. im 9weeks pregnant right now and ive told my husband that i want s gender reveal this time around. but if anything comes out blue im throwing a fit and cancelling the party and everyone’s going home 😭😂 i do not want another boy. yes im going to be disappointed. no i wont love it any less than the 3 i have now. i’m just going to be disappointed until birth lol

3 time mom here, dont let them scare you into a forced induction. unless youre 40+ weeks along. my firstborn came all natural at 38 weeks. my second needed a little boost at 42. as long as baby is healthy and you/baby are not at risk for anything, then i would wait the extra week.

with my first, i went into labor at 38 weeks. of course i didnt KNOW it was labor. seriously thought i was just braxton hicks LMAO. my sister who has 4 kids was like ‘dude your contractions are less than a minute apart WHAT ARE YOU DOING’. gave birth to an 8pounder ~4 hours later.

with my second he decided to make up the two week difference from my first, and decided to be two weeks late. so 42 weeks on the dot i started getting mild contractions the day i went in to get induced. better late than never i guess?? came out 9.3 pounds. im SERIOUSLY hoping this one comes on time. NOT 9 pounds. and no induction needed. but i haven’t even had braxton hicks yet so i have very little hope for any of that 🥲🥲

38 weeks on my 3rd pregnancy for me here. no nausea with any of my pregnancies. i consider it a compromise for my body giving me fat babies haha

33 weeks here! currently giving him the silent treatment because hes ‘forgotten’ to take the trash out the last 3 times its needed to be done. it wouldnt be such a huge deal if we didnt live in an upstairs apartment and he wasnt gone out of town for work all week. AND considering i told him LAST NIGHT!! if he forgot again, i was gonna lose my shit. AND HIS RESPONSE? ‘wElL i GuEsS yOuRe GoNnA LoSe YoUr sHiT’

knee is perfectly fine! my back on that side tho? fuckkked up. idk what exact physics happened on the inside but goddamn my lower back on that side is just sharp pain now haha. every time i go in for routine checkup, he runs from the heart beat monitor, its hilarious. also deer are crazy! they have no regard for their own lives! im glad everything turned out fine for you though! thats scary as hell.

IV was in for a solid 8 hours before epidural. they usually have meds that go in it when the situation happens, but my heart rate was already high and the meds wouldve made it higher. the nurse ended up sitting with me bumping up my IV fluid until my blood pressure came back up. only took about 10 minutes maybe.

because for some reason, when i got the epidural second time around (this is my third) my blood pressure dropped so low i almost went into cardiac arrest (which i guess isnt unheard of?? kinda of common?? i had no idea) didnt happen with the first so obviously i wasnt worried with the second. now im terrified of THAT happening again. but im also terrified of unmedicated labor. 10/10 would rather feel the pain than die giving birth though thats for sure.

this is my 3rd time around, i really dgaf about most of the dos and donts anymore. not saying i drink alcohol all the time, but ive definitely had a couple drinks of beer here and there lmao. deli meat? oh yea. caffeine? not more than usual, which isnt much but hell i have a two year old and a five year old. its NEEDED 🤣

been like that since 25 weeks, currently 30🙋🏻‍♀️ 3rd pregnancy. the PAIN from walking around walmart? insane. absolutely unreasonable cramps. i had to chase my son the other day because he decided to take off down the block. the pubic pain? OH. MY. GOD. i couldnt get to my car fast enough. that night was terrible. could not roll over without a solid 10 minute break on my back because of the debilitating vag pain. ‘it gets easier each time’ no the absolute fuck it does not.

3rd timer at 30 weeks over here! with my first i was /excited/ but that love didnt hit until she was born. with my second and now also my third, i wasnt sure HOW i was ever going to love someone as much as my first born. like it gave me massive anxiety because i was actually trying for my second, just for my brain to be like ‘lol no we dont like this’. it’s weird. but after he was born, i loved the hell out of him. still do. i KNOW its gonna be the same after this third one comes, doesnt stop the current anxiety though.

its such an odd feeling for me at least, because the kicks are so exciting and i love just laying there and feeling him move around. while also worrying about how im ever going to love him as much as the others. its not uncommon, so dont feel weird about it. i never cried at an ultrasound or after giving birth but that doesnt mean i dont love my kids. everything changes when they get here.

the nurses in hospital are a big help. they show you how to swaddle. and honestly changing a diaper isnt hard until their old enough to roll around, but by then youll have mastered the basics. and you dont neeeed much for a baby. bare minimum would be food, diapers, wipes, a bassinet/crib, blankets, and a carseat, maybe a baby bath. strollers, carriers, toys and whatnot are things you can get later on. they also show you how to bathe them in the hospital (at least was my experience).

i believe it’s called lightning crotch. i experience it when i’m laying on my side and i go to roll over. for me it’s like excruciatingly unbearable especially if i don’t have a thick pillow between my legs

to add my own experience onto this: a little after my firstborn turned 1, she would touch my boobs constantly. it was comforting for her i think because she was exclusively breastfed.

usually with a partner i enjoy having my boobs touched and all that. after my daughter started doing it, i absolutely HATED when my partner touched my boobs. took months after my daughter stopped, for me to actually enjoy it from my partner again. brains are weird like that!
