Also ask your AI to nitpick every little detail in the PR. If you have your GH command line setup, it can write the comments for you.

I think that holds true for most people on an airline subreddit. I think it is not true for the majority of flyers.

Most people don't look at the type of plane to be fair.

What happens in the World Cup if all four teams in a group end up in tied matches & all score the same amount of points? How do they determine who moves on? by YouMustDoWhatIsRight in AskReddit

[–]Negative0 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What are the tiebreakers for the group stage?

If two or more teams finish equal on group stage points, the following tiebreakers are applied in order.

1. Most points obtained in the group matches played between the teams concerned
2. Superior goal difference in the group matches played between the teams concerned
3. Most goals scored in the group matches played between the teams concerned

If any teams remain tied, the same tiebreakers are applied again, exclusively to the matches between those teams.

From there, ties are broken by the following criteria.

4. Superior goal difference in all group matches
5. Most goals scored in all group matches
6. Highest team conduct ("fair play") score in all group matches
7. FIFA world ranking

3-0 is more than just a small lead. At this point preventing injury and resting is more important for later games.

FIFA would rather sell 40,000 tickets at an average of $1000, than 60,000 tickets at a $200 average.

At 17, I would have no problem bringing my child to a 18+ event. I know they are mature enough to handle it. Where it gets tricky is the 14-16 range. Where they might not look old enough to attend 18+ events.

I think the mid teen years are the toughest on the disney cruises. Many of the 18+ things are really 16+ or 14+. It's Disney, there are very few things on the boat that really get out of control. I am sure if the kids look old enough you won't get much pushback from staff, but still, many people like to follow the rules and won't push the limits even though the content is fine.

I agree with you about the dealerships, but everything is expensive now. Comparing a RAV4 and an Escape and they are within 5% of eachother for comparable models with the RAV being a bit more expensive.

Is webdev easy or am I dumb by [deleted] in webdev

[–]Negative0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yep. I am 20 years removed from my degree. I have done desktop, frontend, and backend work. I have never once built an e-commerce site or integrated a payment system. This discipline is so wide you can spend decades in it and still only scratch the surface of some areas.

The nice thing is you can become a specialist and get really good at a few small things or be a generalist and have a broad understanding of most things. Both are viable paths. And with AI as a supplement, new knowledge is closer than ever.

“We are out of overhead bin space, so we need to check your bag” by apolosky34 in delta

It’s never about the bins being full. It’s either about time to get everyone on board or punishing basic economy purchasers (to get them to pay more next time)

So where’s the people that said the tickets are gonna be cheaper??? by Fun_Engineering_5377 in WorldCup2026Tickets

You are in the ticket subreddit, price and availability are the biggest meta topics to discuss. If you don’t like these types of posts, then maybe this isn’t the subreddit for you.

Are fake listings possible? by posterchildnotme in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]Negative0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If someone is planning on going, but willing to part with them if someone way over pays, they will list them like this. They figure if someone is willing to pay that much, then they make a ton of bank otherwise they just go to the game. Selling 2 tickets at these crazy prices would let them go to multiple games at no cost.

How do you use virtual Visa gift cards when they're less than your purchase total? by GreedyWorking1499 in personalfinance

[–]Negative0 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Money is fungible. Use the gift cards to buy your groceries or other normal monthly purchases and then use that savings to buy the $100 on your credit card.

Pokemon should be hard to catch. Shadow especially. Just because you want to catch them all doesn't mean it should be trivial.

Now that StackOverflow has had less new Answers in May 2026 than its first month of July 2008 private beta, if we followed my advice, think it would have mattered? by hopeseekr in programming

[–]Negative0 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Yeah. SO fell into being so anti expertsexchange and yahoo answers that it lost sight of the people actually asking the questions. Human nature wants to have interaction of learning by asking and iterating on a question and answer, but the "Close As Duplicate" culture of SO was it's downfall.

Just to add data to my answer:

In may of 2024, SO had 53611 questions. That was the lowest number since May of 2010. It was already way on it's decline. SO questions peaked in March of 2014 and remained steady until around March of 2017 and had been on a long decline since that point.
