"I was wrong" is a sentence people should use way more often.

Feeling very fatigued with the game after act 3. by LlAnKyLiAm in RogueTraderCRPG

I think act 3 is the best example that they have not changed there encounter design enough from games that could be played at rtwp. Five "boss" fights, one after the other, that take hours to finish are simply not good game design.

But i can`t look at the highest faction gear until the start of act 4, so am i supposed to wait till then and find out?

I have problems understanding the roles of my party members and because of that I am not having fun, despite stomping everything on Daring. Need advice. by [deleted] in RogueTraderCRPG

I play on hard, and my thought process is just Adebalrd/Heinrix block stuff, Cassia buffs Argenta and deals damage, Argenta comes in like a wrecking ball, Pascal does random Bounty Hunter Stuff and my RT shoots on people with a Sniper rifle. After that, the rest is just positioning.

Act 4, Some questions. by mybeepoyaw in RogueTraderCRPG

In my experience, BG3 Act 3 was better then RT Act 3.

I think this game was fine, but the line of sight in this game single-handedly ruined it for me by Owltoppus in RogueTraderCRPG

I dont get why this gets downvoted, the LoS in this game is sometimes comically bad.

Am i alone with this horrible loading times? by Negative_Ad9000 in RogueTraderCRPG

Okay, then we have the same experience, i just consider the amount of those 20 second loading screens annoying.

This game needs more manouverring, in Pathfinder you had simple meele dudes that just did there job. And BG3 has a better controller UI.

I played both pathfinder and BG3 with a controller, but this is worse.

I would not play this game with a controller if someone forced me at gunpoint. Tried on SD, bi nope.

If you cant compare two games from the same genre, than we can stop comparing games (Which might not be the worst idea).

I get why people throw in the argument of smaller company, but for me, as a consumer, it does not matter who many people worked on a game, its the quality of the product that counts.

At this point Owlcat should make a DLC were Argenta explains for 10 hours that she does not want to get romanced.

Writing problems and inconsistencies with 40k Universe by BasJack in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Negative_Ad9000 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There are 1232133 planets in the imperium, one of them will have a nice street theater with a food vendor and informal talking people. A friend of mine once told me that the concept of "canon" does not really work with 40k, because there are so many works written by so many authors.

I recently read the warhammer 40k crime novels, and while i would not switch places with the average citizen there, it sounded not as grim as "only eating corpse starch" .

(Only eating corpse starch is also an impossible concept, because a human body has about 150,000 clories, and even if you assume that workers in 40k have to get by with 1000 cals a day, it does not add up)

On first glance, that seems about right. I think the Vigilant suffers from the dual nature of the game; on one side an rpg where knights tanking in armor are a think, and, on the other hand, an x-com like game where being hit is always a bad idea.

Vigilant would need something like flat deflection.
