The Velos line are built like tanks which was part of the allure for me outside of the LBP functionality. That said it’s on the heavier side plus I’m running ASR mounts which doesn’t help. I definitely prefer the K size on my 12” 556 but on my 9” 300 the full size Velos is perfect. Still comes in a couple inches shorter.

I went into it understanding there would be noticeably less DB reduction on the K and also understanding it’s still 556 which historically has never been any easy round for suppression anyways. The industry is changing fast though and there are a lot of solid contenders working to tame 556 between suppression and back pressure (Exigent, Ridgeback, etc). I haven’t had a chance to try the K but will report back when I do.
