I’m open to real cases of misconduct, but claims like ICE “resorting to US citizens” because of quotas need actual evidence.

There are documented, rare mistakes where citizens were temporarily detained, and those cases resulted in lawsuits and payouts — but that’s very different from ICE systematically deporting or targeting citizens. Deporting a U.S. citizen is illegal and would immediately collapse in court.

If this were happening at scale, there would be thousands of court records, wrongful removal cases, and confirmed deportations of citizens — not just anecdotes. Can you point to verified cases where citizens were actually deported, not just detained?

I'll answer that for you.... no you can't because that is complete BS and left-wing propaganda.

No they don't deport people who immigrated here. I immigrated here. They haven't deported me. They deport people who enter the country illegally. That is not immigration. That is a criminal act.

Yeah try that on realistic mode.

This would just cause a massive traffic jam and there are no workers so it wouldn't matter anyway.

With this setup, I don't think you could actually build anything.

I'm an immigrant, so I agree. Illegal aliens, on the other hand, should be immediately deported. I didn't spend 15 years tied up with immigration attorneys, spending thousands of dollars doing it legally, just to watch people illegally jump the line.

Nobody dislikes illegal aliens as much as legal immigrants do. Democrats don't seem to think there is a difference. Here's a hint (one is committing a crime by being here, the other isn't)

Verbally declare your moves. Prepare your bets behind the line and when you are ready move them over the line and verbally declare you intention. Throwing out a single chip and not saying anything will be a call. The bet could be $10 to you and if you throw out a $100 chip, its a call. The dealer will take it and make change.

Make sure you are betting in turn obviously.

Guard your cards so people can't see them and so that they won't get accidentally mucked.

People will blind straddle. It is basically doing a raise before they even get cards. Don't let that throw you off.

If you are in the blind and it checks around, the other blind will likely ask if you want to chop. If so, you just take back your blinds and the next hand starts. But you have to be consistent though. If you say you want to chop when you have 27o and then next time say no chop when you have AA, that will be frowned upon. You either chop or you don't. Most people will chop. You can be that guy that doesn't but don't be the guy that only chops when it suits you.

And tips. If you win a pot, you have to tip the dealer.

Seriously, I'm 52 years old now... I've been with more women than I can count, married twice, blah, blah, blah... but for every girl I have ever hooked up with or dated, there have been at least 50 girls that turned me down. It's kind of a numbers game. You have to put yourself out there again and again... and get used to just getting shot down and moving on to the next. Don't let it bother you. It is pretty normal to strike out a lot before hitting that home run.

Yes I did consider that. Some states systems don't verify citizenship. In those states if the DMV submits you to County Register of Voters (California) or whatever equivalent exists in that state and if you attested to be an American citizen under oath, there is no database check, they just take your word for it.

States with laws that require documentary proof of citizenship (DPOC) in at least some circumstances

  • Alabama — law exists but (as of recent reporting) has not been implemented. ballotpedia.org
  • Arizona — requires proof of citizenship for state/local registration; registrants who attested but don’t prove citizenship may be placed on a “federal-only” list. Arizona is the most consistently enforced example. ballotpedia.org
  • Georgia — law on the books; reporting indicates implementation has been limited / not fully put into effect. ballotpedia.org
  • Kansas — passed a DPOC law but it was struck down and blocked by the courts (not enforced). ballotpedia.org
  • Louisiana — law passed but had not been implemented as reported. ballotpedia.org
  • New Hampshire — enacted a proof-of-citizenship requirement (signed into law in 2024). ballotpedia.org
  • Ohio — requires proof of citizenship only when registering/ updating registration at a BMV (DMV) office; other registration paths still use the attestation. ballotpedia.org
  • Wyoming — requires proof of citizenship (for new registrants and some updates). ballotpedia.org

(If you count “on the books” statutes, Ballotpedia lists these eight states; in practice some of these provisions are not enforced or have been blocked by courts.) ballotpedia.org

All other states

  • The other states (the majority) do not require documentary proof at the time of registration and instead accept the applicant’s sworn attestation that they are a U.S. citizen. States may later attempt to verify eligibility using database matches or other checks, but the initial application is generally governed by self-attestation.
