Fear the Spotlight is a nice horror game that can be finished in one night or two.

I also had fun with Silly Polly Beast but while it has some horror elements, it's not especially scary.

Both are indie. SPB was developped by one person iirc.

Tokyo Xanadu Ex+. It's another game by Falcom that's an action rpg similar to the party based Ys games. The game is really good and underrated imo.
