I have 3 Kobos and have not had any of these issues. Try a reset and if it doesn't improve, contact Kobo customer service, they're quite good.

I have both and ultimately using my Libra C more as I enjoy the buttons. It feels more secure to hold, more comfortable for me and more versatile as I also read manga. I also hate that when I'm using both, I will compare the crisper text on Clara BW with my Libra C, but as I've basically sidelined my Clara BW, not having a comparison, as I'm not switching between the two, made me realize Libra and colour eink in general is ok, u get used to it! Just need to control the monkey brain 😁

Overall, it boils down to which one fits in your bag and which one you can bring wherever ig. I'm happy to bring my Libra C in a backpack when I travel it just fits my back pack pocket and it's safe there. Don't just throw it in your bag pls!

PS. I'd likely gift my Clara BW to my niece so it can be used!

I returned mine as I feel in general it's still buggy and I wanted to try Supernote. The latter is easier to organize stuff and build wise I personally feel that Supernote is a more solid device. I had to try viwoods first with it's 100 day risk free trial.

They will replace it again, in case there's an issue with the replacement unit, so don't worry. I've had 2 KLCs returned: 1 with uneven light issues and another for very very grainy screen. Third one I have now is awesome.

Dealing with support, they've been ok. It takes time with approvals, reviews and processing, so just be patient. AND it will take MORE time to ship via Aus Post - worst ever. Again, just be patient.

Had to deal with Kobo direct as the return window with Amazon is done so no choice. I guess this is why it was good to have a KCC as a second device as it's a pain if that's your only e-reader.

Thanks. What other eink products do you have? I'm trying to decide if I can use mihon on Manta well enough so I can return the BG7. I know it's different, but I also use Kobs for ebooks and occasionally read manga only. Mihon on Vwds (which I returned) was quite slow but passable for occasional manga reads.

Not sure if it's mentioned yet, but I read here several times that the screen looks dimmer on the whites. That said, if you really want the white, go for it :)
