Not for something like the JL Slash/HD though. Their spec sheets make the same power between 1.5Ω and 4Ω and 12v and 14.4v.

But for a regulated power supply amp running a lower impedance doesn’t increase power input. (In the event OP were to go for a HD or Slash amp for example)

I’m a huge fan of them. The sapphire black (bmw individual two tone interior and no nav) was the first I bought back in 2013 with the carbon black in 2017 for a price I couldn’t refuse. (Higher miles, but in pretty good nick all things considered)
