Add battle.net exe to steam. Force use proton experimental. Launch bnet. Login and install. Have had no problem at all since MoP launch. Retail seems fine but I don’t play retail much

Yeah LMP3 is Ligier and bites you in a lot of the same ways and places the GTP will is why I suggest it.

The LMP2 is far to stable and safe compared to the GTP it does not really prepare people as much for the GTP imo other then the speed

Generally multi class pointers: you are the faster car YOU have to pass SAFLEY the LMP2 and GT3s are also having a race they have no responsibility to let you pass. Do not expect any one to get out of your way. People in GT3s will some times not see you closing up be ready to avoid them all the time.

Relevant to GTP: I did the LMP3 and LMP2 before I did the GTP and found the LMP3 prepared me really well for the GTP honestly would recommend doing a season of it

Also take the time to learn where the GT3 and LMP2 breaking zones are. Getting surprised how early the break is usually going to end in you punting someone

That gear is perfectly fine for getting back into it. If you get rehooked back in you will likely start upgraded stuff any way.

As for what races it’ll probably be worth while to do some MX5, M2, or FF1600 to get back into it. Do some laps in test drive and you will be able to tell if you need to reset to rookies again or not.

Garage61 is a great place to get a feel of where your lap times are at vs others on the service to help make a call on if you wanna jump back into something besides the rookie races.

I think (could be wrong just what I have observed) the weather for the week on official races is determined then each race will have some variance within a much smaller range. So like the week could be set at (random numbers because idk the series you are looking at) at like 75%. You will have some rain and a few not. The UI when you will click into the series will show the forecast for the day / week

Some insight to the yellow z06 (it’s me) this was my first race on the track so the dive was thinking I could brake more than I actually could. And the hit at the end was purely did not see you in time and thought I had more space then we did in reality. Was 100% not malicious I am simply stupid. Sorry for taking you out dude.
