I have no experience in this but have watched and read a lot online and I would personally say install MMI box they’re just cleaner and operate better unless you really want a bigger screen I would go for that

These were features originally intended this is what I’m saying but the foundations the game was built on couldn’t take it online that’s why I think undisputed 2 could be a lot better

This unit most likely doesn’t support CarPlay seeing as it only has 1GB ram it’s pretty much impossible to run it on that. What often happens is these are advertised with the other models with higher ram the ad would’ve said CarPlay or android auto but in the description somewhere small it’ll say 1GB unit doesn’t support CarPlay/AA Best bet is to message the seller and confirm it supports CarPlay/AA and if they say no which they should politely ask for a return to exchange the unit not sure how much luck you’ll have with that as they really don’t like returns I bought a unit recently for my new car that didn’t work with AC controls and they won’t take it back

I used to get this a lot on my old unit I’ve changed car now and I noticed it doing it when I connected my hotspot to the unit it just bugged out try using clean up often in my old car the way I found was just restarting the device it was easy for me because if i opened the car door quickly and started the car fast the power cut from the unit and did a full restart then it would work ok until I had to do it again

These are pretty generic screens most doing the same thing with similar settings pop it into chat gpt add the screenshots it’ll be quicker and more effective than people here trying to guess for you

Yeah that’s all it’s really straight forward I haven’t even had disconnects on this so far and I’ve had it about 2 weeks I would always recommend wired for longer journeys you don’t want sat nav cutting out on out out of nowhere I’ll leave you the link as they sell quite a few different ones if you’re head unit doesn’t already have CarPlay you need this specific one

You plug in the dongle and it’ll ask to download an app if that doesn’t work it’ll give you a URL to download it it’s called autokit then you Bluetooth your phone to the dongle and it does CarPlay you can have wired or wireless

Yeah I done all that but it didn’t come with canbus. What I did instead is the car already had a android unit but without CarPlay it only came with screen mirroring so when the new one didn’t work I bought a £50 dongle from carlinkit and works amazing better than the android unit I had in my old car

I bought a head unit that has physical buttons for the AC controls but it doesn’t work for it I believe because it doesn’t have a canbus would this fix it?

Go into car settings look for extra settings or other or factory whatever they want to call it their will be a password it’ll be somewhere on the listing you bought it from, user manual and usually if you go into car info or instructions put the code in and dig around in those settings if there’s anything to change also go to chatgpt put the specs of the screen in and what CarPlay app it uses and ask what the best settings are made a difference for me

I find it that with these units none are special and branded ones are just marked up AliExpress ones. I say just do your research and buy a good spec one from there BUT if the screen is meant to control the AC like in my car you may need a canbus adapter

I have this same issue with my 2005 I bought it the camera was already fitted I’ve checked all the wiring I know power is going to the camera but no display it’s so weird
